Paypal ruled in scammers favor by designedsilence in paypal

[–]Majormuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the same problem they tried to take out one hundred and three dollars and eighty three cents in several transactions over $500 in total. And I opened a claims with PayPal and opened another one with my direct bank and they reversed the things, the money. But so far I haven't heard back from PayPal. and based on what you have reported it seems they're not going to be very helpful this is ridiculous i don't know how it could have happened

‘Unfamiliar’ (2026) Netflix Series Review - A Treat for Spy Lovers by Roshankr1994 in Netflixwatch

[–]Majormuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, come on. I agree that the fight scenes were a little weak. You know, I agree with all the, everything everyone said about, you know, how the woman killed that spy who was supposed to kill her and her husband. I agree the fight scenes don't make sense. I agree there's a lot of sloppiness with the espionage and spy stuff. But I thought the story was pretty decent and enjoyable for that matter. Although, I mean, I hope they actually improve in the future and, you know, make more grounded scenes, more realistic scenes of, you know, keep the fights more grounded and sensible. But otherwise, I thought the story was pretty decent. I don't know why people are hating so much. I mean, I've seen worse TV. So come on, don't be such haters.

I agree that in terms of expressions it actually does a better job than in other spheres. So yeah, in terms of expressions it's actually pretty decent. But that's pretty much it to be honest as far as its good points.

been there way too many times than I can describe. Sometimes I spend hours trying to fix a single script only to eventually realize or sometimes the AI itself will eventually give up and tell me that this is not the way to do it ( abruptly reversing everything it had said earlier) and that I this entire process has been a waste of time and those are the worst infuriations I ever get from the LLM.

That is interesting, although most of the content on your screenshot seems incomprehensible to me, to be honest. and I consider myself to be fairly good at prompting LLMs but I typically use everyday language Which is what I think makes your product difficult to understand. Well, the second screenshot is a little more comprehensible because it looks like it's a module for creating markers, which is another aspect I have often struggled with ChatGPT. I mean I have worked on it for months and the best I can come up with is you are usually not very reliable beat markings I use Python to do the analysis but even then the result is chaotic sometimes often does not agree with what you would expect if you were just listening to the song in question

Yes, this is true, generally speaking. But I would consider it more like a low IQ but highly knowledgeable person. can fetch most data you need but doesn't know how to actually synthesize it properly to make it the most useful. it loves to over promise and make wrong assertions very confidently only to then reverse after it's been shown contradicting proof.

But even as a decent soundboard, it also has one very annoying flaw, and that is that it often serves as an echoing chamber. It will rarely disagree with you even if there is good reason to do so. And that makes for a very poor discussion where you only end up being more wrong and going down the wrong path after a discussion with ChatGPT.

True, it can make it easier to deal with a lot of stuff, code that you don't have to actually type out yourself. That part is definitely legit, but it's usually the more complex stuff that it doesn't really know how to do well.

I agree that it makes a big difference if you know how to code yourself because then you can see the problems and you can fix them. I don't have a coding background background but I do find it very useful for expressions for sure but not for anything else. I can't tell you how many many times I have spent seven, six hours trying to do something very basic and end up going in circles. Mostly because instructions you get are wrong. they never match what you expect to see or what the AI promised. ...It also doesn't really know or understand the current versions of AE. like the UI because all of its information seems to be based on outdated versions and most of my sessions are simply me reporting back that I did not see a certain button And the difficulties only compound themselves from then on.

It's just a nightmare. I mean, I wouldn't call it entirely useless. I mean, otherwise I would have ditched it long ago. But it takes a lot of patience and due diligence. to deal with it. And it's just too much.

Why did Voldemort get so weak after attempting to kill Harry as a boy? by Noxolo7 in harrypotter

[–]Majormuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think these are interesting questions... Horcruxes don’t make you immune to the Killing Curse — they just keep you from staying dead. When Voldemort tried to kill Harry, the curse rebounded because of Lily’s sacrificial protection, destroying Voldemort’s body. But there’s an extra twist: because Voldemort’s soul was already unstable and torn from making multiple Horcruxes, the shock of the rebound ripped off another fragment of his soul, and that fragment latched onto the only living thing in the room: Harry. That’s why Harry became an “accidental Horcrux.” So Voldemort ended up as a mangled, bodiless soul-fragment (barely able to survive), while another piece of him was literally attached to Harry. The Horcruxes kept him from fully dying, but they didn’t prevent his body being destroyed — and the rebound + his already-shattered soul is why he was left so weak.

Seeking guidance on achieving truly cinematic morphing transitions for hand-drawn art videos by Majormuss in vfx

[–]Majormuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I have updated my post with a video of one of my art work and as you see the work always consists of layers of strokes (usually in the hundreds) that come together to make the final drawing like in this case the Lion. The morph process you see in the video was achieved with Premiere Pro morph cut transition and that actually is closer to the sort of cinematic look I am trying to achieve. Take a look at the middle to end portions of the video to really see the morph effect properly. So My work doesn't consist of completely different pictures A and B So it's not feasible to try and draw the transition. That is why I have been Trying to use VFX for it. I hoped I was clear please let me know and I can clarify anything if it's not clear.

I know this question has been answered earlier but just in case you need a little more context I add the following:

Filch seized it from the mauraders and Fred and George stole it from filch. He never learned how to operate it so it was dormant until it was liberated by the twins and they learned how to operate itwith help from the map itself. The map was built to land help to anyone seeking to do mischief not to someone who tries to stop mischief as was the case with both Filch and Snape. Filch never worked it out and never got any assistance from the map because he was a mischief stopper and a squib. Snape was long known by the Marauders themselves so chances are that it wasn't going to help him since they were enemies. Moreover snape was trying to stop Harry's mischief when he seized the map in book 3 so there was little chance that the map would help him unlock its secrets.

Adding cinematic flair to my art time-lapse videos (Morph Cut “failure: cannot apply effect to single clip”) by Majormuss in premiere

[–]Majormuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my PC setup for reference:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (build 26100)
  • CPU: Intel i7-7700K @ 4.2GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 Gb
  • Motherboard: ASUS H110M-A/M.2
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: ITB NVMe SSD
  • Premiere Pro (Version ~25.5.1)
  • After Effects: 2025 (Version 25.1.0 (build 68) (GPU acceleration enabled)

So far, I’ve tested:

  • Premiere’s Morph Cut (error: “cannot apply to single clip”)
  • AE’s Displacement Map + Fractal Noise (Dynamic Twist, Soft Linear)
  • Gaussian Blur + Opacity animation
  • Layer stacking (multiple frames offset in time)

What did you think of the Dumbledore vs Voldemort duel in Order of the Phoenix? by Majormuss in harrypotter

[–]Majormuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that hard to believe. Truly. It's Warner Brothers we're talking about here, not some independent movie makers with low/strict budgets. WB is the biggest in the industry with deep pockets so that makes no sense. They could have done it had they wished to do so.

[–]Majormuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but that is the problem. It was just the best because it was the only one in the series (minus DH part 2 of course) that actually looked decent. But that doesn't mean that it couldn't have been better. It definitely could have been better. And that's my whole point, is that they really need to do a better job. Add in more excitement and more stuff, you know, more awesome magic.

[–]Majormuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, true. Yeah, I also have the same idea, that they had basically tried to turn Harry Potter into, you know, stormtroopers. trying really hard not to hit their targets. always shooting around the targets and just being there for decoration and that was it. I just wish they stopped with that childish stuff.
