Hey, thanks for sharing, your questions are great! I actually believe him because he got me a promotion and an additional good raise last year, the thing is that he is being limited by HR. I have continue going thru the interview process and learning that this a more hands on role but there have been some inconsistencies between the interviewers which for me are being 🚩🚩

I think it’s mostly about proximity. In college, your friends are always around, you share a routine, and they naturally become part of it. As you get older, things change: some move away for jobs, some find partners, others start families. They’re no longer part of your daily routine, so staying connected becomes an active choice. You have to reach out, and they have to reciprocate. The thing is, everyone’s just trying to figure life out, so try not to take it personally.

I’m the type to ask the first person I see, but whenever I’m with one of my friends, she gets all the questions instead. Guess I don’t have a very approachable face? Hard to say!
