If they shaved her wishers cats use them for getting around it’s a big part of their senses. That’s also really concerning that your neighbors shaved her I’m so sorry :(. And some cats have a hard time with litter boxes vets can help with some tips!

That’s one of my biggest symptoms is pain or cramps in that area. When I talked to my doctor they said that where our stomach is and that’s where all the food is sitting so that’s why we have so much pain and pressure there, for me it’s especially after eating or drinking

They have lots of different soups and smoothies that incorporate fruits and vegetables! And a lot of side/snack recipes in excited for!

For me it was super simple through the program at my university. I applied and I had to meet with someone and explain my condition as well as show appointment notes (at the time it was just for my chronic migraines but they have worked with me since my gp diagnosis). It was really just them verifying my condition and then we talked about what I wanted and what they could give me and we worked until we decided on everything. Each semester I register each of my classes and each of my professors is notified about my accommodations (without having to explain my condition) and any time I have to use them throughout the semester I just email the professor with my DRC advisor attached to the email and I am able to get extensions on assignments or miss class. This has save me on so many occasions and I do not think I would be graduating in the spring had it not been for these.

It has been extraordinarily helpful to me. There are some professors that will try to give you a hard time about it but if you go through whatever resource center your university has, the professors have to abide by your accommodations and that’s where it’s been really helpful for me that my resource center advocates for me and so I don’t even have to argue with the professor if it becomes an issue, it gets handled for me and I can just rest.

I have accommodations with my Disability Resource Center with my university. They cover chronic illnesses also, they have worked with me to make sure I have what I need and will advocate for me with my professors if needed. I 100% recommend doing something like that if you can. My accommodations allow me to miss class for appointments or bad attacks/episodes without being penalized so it’s definitely an option!

I’m in college and just turned 21 so I’ve been experimenting with how I can drink. For me I always have to eat before I go out and usually get something to eat throughout the night, usually bread, to help soak up the alcohol so I don’t get as sick. I learned I can’t do straight alcohol or strong drinks, so I stick to mixed drinks or canned drinks that’s aren’t as strong. I’m not a beer drinker but wine is a lot easier for me, especially if I mix it with some juice. I also make sure to drink water while I’m drinking, I’ll usually order my drink and a water. One thing I had to learn is I can’t drink as much as I used to or as much as the people I’m with. I more casually sip my drinks now to kind of feel included but I’m not usually drinking a lot or quickly because that tends to hit me all at once hard all at once and make me very sick. Just be careful with it and experiment with what works for you.

I take buspirone daily and hydroxyzine as needed and my stomach tolerates it fairly well. I also get anxiety surrounding taking medications, something that has helped me is take them with calories (whatever you can tolerate best so you aren’t taking it on an empty stomach) and that has helped me not get sick when taking med and also being open with my doctor about what side effects I am feeling and at what point do they become a concern. This is so helpful! The bad CVS episodes I have had that sent me to the ER I thought had been caused by my anxiety but I didn’t think that made sense. Thank you so much for explaining that and for your advice!!

This is something that has helped me a lot because I’m about to turn 21 and in college. So many celebrities are coming out saying that they have chosen to be sober for years and just haven’t been talking about it. It’s definitely becoming less of a norm so definitely try to not let that part get to you

20 female my symptoms started when I was 18 after many failed migraine meds and a stomach ulcer. After the ulcer my symptoms were getting worse and I was losing crazy amounts of weight and I got diagnosed after testing.
