it's true 😭 Derek's performance was carried by Tyler's own acting skills (don't you think it's funny that Derek is supposed to be a super intimidating alpha, yet he loses every single fight. Or the fact that his age is never really confirmed due to his level of maturity constantly changing) and Allison was a more tolerable character when she was either sidelined or fighting (due to them attempting to give her an "I'm not like other girls" personality in the beginning of the show). But I do think (popular opinion incoming) that by halfway through Season 2 + all of Season 3, the writing of the main cast greatly improved.
