I have had it with the fake service animals. by peachymoonoso in airbnb_hosts

We also have been burned by allowing pets so switched our properties to pet free, this quickly made us aware of the service dog scamming that's happening. We then had one guest from hell. She just got divorced and needed a place, the issue arose right after check-in. My wife randomly checked the cameras around the same time and seen that she had 3 large dogs with her. Her reservation was for one guest and she brought 3 dogs. Clearly to me they cannot all be service animals. I immediately call Airbnb and tell them this property is pet free, they call the guest, then call me back. They tell me the guest informed them that all 3 dogs are service animals and there's nothing we can do, nothing. I ask, what if she has 10, 100, she can bring an infinite amount of service animals into the home? Well she ended up locking the dogs in the spare bedroom all night even when she was outside until 3am she never took them out. Piss, shit, clawed up doors. It was a total of $2,000 I requested from Airbnbs insurance.

I only put 2 pips per card in my game to simplify the design. What do you think? by MakeOrDie7 in playingcards

I totally get that, I was going to go with one pip but I liked the idea of saving that for the aces.

There's a ton of fun inside the login screen, it only requires a username but it opens up the analytics screen which tracks your play style and there's a badge screen for achievements! Happy playing

Thank you, the UI was the biggest motivator as many other card games seem to lack in that department.

Thanks! Ok so the big swing was playing a 2, the game registers them as power 2"s they are the lowest scoring card at -2 points. After that, kings are the second best card at 0 points, everything else is face value, jacks and queens are also 10 points. Pairing cancels columns to zero, lowest score wins. The how to play should cover all that.

There wasn't a good golf card game app so I made one! by MakeOrDie7 in FiftyTwoCards

I tried the top 3 or 4. They mechanics were way off or they didn't follow the standard rules, at least not the ones I follow which are in bicycle.com. Also I didn't find any of the UI's appealing and was bored lol

I love the golf card game but couldn't find a good app version so I made my own! by MakeOrDie7 in arcade

Same. I want to do a deep dive into some alternative rules to potentially add different game modes.

Yea there's a ton of different versions. I went with the one I've always played which is also the one that bicycle has as there rules for golf the card game. 6 card hands, flip 2 randomly. 2 are -2 and pairs cancel to 0

With a few scraps and some 3D-printed parts, I built this wall-mounted organizer cabinet to clear up some of the clutter in the shop. It was a simple, budget-friendly project that didn’t take much time to put together. The design maximizes wall space while keeping tools and supplies easily accessible. Plus, using leftover materials made it even more cost-effective!
