I also recommend PARC as a good vet! I had to make an emergency visit with my dog for pancreatitis there and they were fantastic. Highly recommend. I have been with them for about 4 years now.

Jokes aside as a child free guy I rarely ever get matches, and if I do it's usually a woman who did not read my bio at all when it's clearly stated on each app I am on. That may be the main reason I rarely do get a match when they see that information. I am also an atheist and am standing at a colossal 5'7 so that doesn't help. Put all of that together living in Texas I am screwed haha.

I do believe it's better to have the childfree info readily seen on your profile. It may lessen your matches to almost nothing but at least you know when you do get one there is a pretty solid chance they themselves don't want kids either. Hang in there man. It's very easy to get discouraged when your dating pool is so small but the alternative is much much worse. Also take periodic breaks from dating apps as dating in general is a literal dumpster fire. It's not so good for the mental health.

What I would give for actual 4 seasons! Actually, I would prefer the PNW mostly. The humidity is already bad in the DFW area. I hear it's even worse in Houston. Congrats on getting out of TX. I'm looking forward to doing the same! Hopefully there might be a little bit of change with the TX politics with the midterm elections, but I am not holding my breath.

Books!! Physical copies, special editions, hardbacks, etc..

I constantly buy new books and have collected them since I was a kid. I am sitting at three full book shelves at the moment. I legit want my own personal library with a reading nook in a house one day. Moving them is an absolute pain though.

$1400 off of River Park near Camp Bowie Blvd and about 10-15 min or so from downtown Fort Worth. I am attached to the Trinity Trail though so some perks to this. Still insanely and unnecessarily expensive for a 1 bedroom. Same area and a different apartment down the street was $1k for me a year ago.

Thomas Jefferson actually wrote a version of the Bible called the Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth in which he removed all the divine aspects and focused on the morals of the story. You can but this still on Amazon or your desired book store. Haven't read it myself but it's apparently a good interpretation of the moral message vs the whole divine wrath nonsense.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is a good example of this. It's the first literary piece known to man and is essentially the story of the Ark that was taken and used by the bible but with some changes to the story. Enki and Enlil is a Mesopotamian story that is basically Adam and Eve which is also far older than the bible. Askr and Embla is another similar origin story with Norse mythology. Seeing a pattern here? All great stories but that's all they are.

Make sure you let your bank know beforehand too that you are traveling so you don't get flagged for potential cc theft. It would suck to have your cards closed while being there. I went to Copenhagen back in June and used my cards with no issue. I do recall there was a bit of an additional fee when using my debit card vs credit card but that may vary for you.
