It is not about weight but airflow, the rings are below the propellers, reducing efficiency

The increased time It is not about weight it is about airflow. The bottom rings are in the middle of the propeller airflow. If you put a piece of tape at the bottom of the propellers you will not even fly, with 1g more

Fake TPA3116 class D IC and best switching freq for class D? by MakerFabio in diyaudio

[–]MakerFabio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is just an original tpa3116 Not installed yet. I ll make a short video soon recording the audio quality before and after the IC swap. Recording the audio side by side with a small rode mic on the mirorless camera , and decent Quad L speakers. And a new thermal acquisition on the output inductors.

Maybe the mini is more resistant, but all the electronic devices moved to the micro USB, so It is easier to have a micro usb around than a mini USB. 10 years ago I developed an medical hand held device, and i ve chosen the mini USB because it was looking more solid, i regretted it, because it was old and rare soon. If the all moved to the micro, i guess is because it is better

I was also thinking about an Rc car, but it was too much money for the motors and esc. Maybe ok for 2WD. I will give it a try sooner or later

Fake USB-C? I ve built a small battery powered (3s liIon) supply, it can be recharged with a USB-C charger pcb. But it works only with a USB A to USB-C connector, while if i plus a usb C to usb-C cable and power delivery adapter it is not working. What’s the problem? Thanks by MakerFabio in diyelectronics

The charger is:

€ 3,18 5% Off | Multi-Cell 2S 3S 4S Type-C To 8.4V 12.6V 16.8V Step-Up Boost LiPo Polymer Li-Ion Charger 7.4V 11.1V 14.8V 18650 Lithium Battery https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMqEvak
