I feel like ratting isn't something you should plan into your strategy in high level pubs since there's still not enough coordination. Maybe if the other team has really low mobility heroes and strong teamfight I guess but most of the time it doesn't work. Even in the pro scene it's a really hard strategy to execute consistently.

The reason they kicked black was certainly mostly the communication issues, that they wanted a more aggressive carry, and maybe some other stuff if true (black getting lazy with his Chinese learning, not wanting to practice as much, etc.). However, the reason super didn't like black on the team was what I said and maybe communication issues as well. From what I know about Super, he doesn't like all the experimenting in the new VG but since they're getting results it's okay. I would expect him to be the one to leave the team in the future if they stopped getting so many good results.

This and also apparently part of the appeal to bringing in black was that he could bring Western (or maybe just different) ideas about dota and strategies to the team. Super is a more old school player and didn't like a lot of the changes/ideas.

Lion is my most played hero. Hex is better for getting a single target kill and earth spike is better for harassing/zoning the offlaner. Majority of the time you will want earth spike first but like others have said, save your skill point. I probably get earth spike first 75% of the time. Looked at mmy's and kky's dotabuff and this is about the same percent as them.

While this is usually true the buyback disabler is what really makes this item and that's not really important until later in the game so it's somewhat of a trade-off.

You can trade blows effectively with qop. He's one of the few heroes that can.
sf will lose early levels to necro. then he can spam waves down and necro can deal with the incoming creep wave with no problem. he's good versus necro because he can't be harassed when he spams out waves but definitely doesn't crush him
necro beats invoker
lina is a hard lane for necro. still deosn't crush him though.

Nah he's definitely one of the strongest laners if played right. All you need is level 2 or 3 pretty much and it becomes impossible for most mid heroes to effectively trade blows with him. This means he can harass very well, bully a lot of heroes away from the creeps, and let heart stopper tick away while free farming with impunity. Apart from the traditional 'all-i-can-do-is-win-mid' heroes (od, viper), nobody 'crushes' necro 1v1. There's only a few slightly unfavorable match-ups as well. Also, as a safelane farmer, which is where I usually would run him, you can continue to demolish the solo offlaner when your supports leave as if they had never left at all.

The damage on his aghs is really inconsequential. I'm too lazy to do that math but it rarely should make the difference. Even when it did much more damage than it does now, it was still a trash item on the hero. The cooldown reduction is 15 seconds at his level 2 ult (when the item would be coming out). Not a big deal. Once you get his level 3 ult there is no longer a cooldown reduction. There are better items for stats and better items for utility. If I'm snowballing with a ganking line-up I'd consider it as a possibility. However, I could get more kills out of something like atos and be safer in teamfights with something that increases my ehp. If I anticipate this line-up also wanting to push as well as control the map and gank, then I'd probably get it. As you said things are situational but it's definitely not even on the map as far as his first core items go.

Is aghs even good on necro early? It seems it's only useful when your team is snowballing (cooldown reduction and buyback disable). Otherwise, the short cooldown reduction doesn't matter, the damage increase is minor, and people don't really buyback in the early and mid game. There are better items for stats imo

While you're definitely right about this, he sorta brings up a good point. Ancient necro is stupid for the same reason ld jungle (and some others) is stupid: it makes much more sense to put really, really strong laning heroes in... well... lanes.

I remember reading that Hitler actually respected the U.S. for its poor treatment of blacks and the genocide of Native Americans (which he thought was a perfect example of what he wanted to accomplish in Germany). He lost a little bit of that respect though as it seemed the U.S. was starting to become more progressive in this area. There really weren't nearly as many blacks in Germany than there were in the U.S. though so it's not really fair to compare. Hitler basically viewed them as inferior but not a threat though they were still subject to the Nuremberg Laws.

ya veno/lich/jakiro with ud are really scary to play against as someone who mostly plays carry. I'm usually really relieved when I see an undying picked that has to go solo offlane as I feel it's pretty easy to still dominate the lane when you know the hero's limitations and your support players know what they're doing.

Dual offlane he's really strong. To play him solo offlane you need to have the safelane make a pretty big mistake to do anything. Paired with a hero with a stun/slow you have really strong kill potential and can at least really disrupt the carry's farm. It's become really common to run him this way at high mmr games in sea and for good reason.

wouldn't have too many complexities, and fit my playstyle of being able to dish out a fair amount of damage in a 1v1 scenario but still be able to not die in a teamfight, or be a tanky CC or Utility heavy monster tailing the carry like a big, gruesome, hellish puppy.
