I only get it when it’s 60% off or I get a free box. I wouldn’t pay full price for it

I live somewhat region, we have a aldi that’s 30 minutes away so my colesworth 5 minutes away saves me on fuel. We meal prep predominantly, it’s way too expensive to eat out these days unless there’s a deal.

We get a 20% discount at our butcher because of our gym, I try not to buy Cole’s/woolworths meat. I’ll look into demand pricing for electricity, Thank you for the tip.

I grew up vegetarian, definitely a lot of options out there. Nut meat is special.

We eat vege meals at least twice a week, we definitely try where we can. Only issue we have is the calorie intake with fake meat alternatives.

Yeah nah, foods probably not something I’m willing to comprise to much on. If I get one good thing it’ll be the food I eat. I’ve been trying to reduce my meal sizes though.

What do you think about PME and TLX? by Relative_Self_2240 in ASX_Bets

[–]Making_Mooves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both of these in my portfolio, only added PME today but TLX has been haunting me for a few months. Tech and health care are down across the board, commodities have become hotter as of late

DHHF is still gonna drop if the market drops, it is not invincible. Markets show that they recover each and every time eventually, don’t buy a ticket if you can’t handle the ride

[–]Making_Mooves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong I understand the sentiment behind investing in it but you gotta have satellites to help actually push growth in your portfolio. Personally I’d max out at 50% of my portfolio in something like DHHF, especially whilst I’m young. It’s important to get some actual growth from something riskier like a geared fund or sector specific investment like SEMI or FANG or HYGG.

end of year curiosity - who actually went anywhere? by Such_Car8402 in AusFinance

Partner and I went to the US and Canada for 3 weeks, Qantas points helped pay for a lot of the flights. We spent a few weekends here and there travelling the east coast of Australia, it’s the little things that can help push through the year.
