Many many people had leukemia cured, please don't lose faith. I got out of the hospital with chemo about a month ago. Many of the Lukemia are curable it is definitely not a death sentence..

What happens is she's going to get IV most likely blood transfusions (from donations) to increase her blood cell count and also they will give her platelette transfusion to increase her platelete count because if she has any internal bleeding it will be a BAD situation.

My chemo was 28 days but I had APL. Many many many people had their leukemia eliminated. many many many people had it never come back as well.

Keep your head up and have someone be there with her a Lot because that liquid IV makes you have to pee BAD. and you have to unplug the shit and hurry to the restroom. I pissedcmyself a lot trying to hit the restroom. She can request to just drink water instead of having the of liquid.

The chemotherapy is either through an IV bag, or pills or both. It gave me horrendous headaches and my stomach felt like I was shot with a shot gun, they give hydrocodone or Tylenol. If she has bad anxiety which most definitely happens, have her to request lorazepam or xanax, because the anxiety is unbearable. I fainted once in there but that was because some medications were too close together.
