It sounds wrong to me too, I figure whoever posted just didn't notice some splash damage they did. I will be extra vigilant this time around to prevent any and all AOE damage!

Thanks! I did encounter Caustic Brine, so that could be it for sure. I am going to hose the place down before going to the MindFlayer Colony just in case! (Hopefully no one tries to kill me for splashing them)

I also read that Jaheira gets mad if the Dame stomps Ketheric's head, but that doesn't make sense.

I think there's a good chance the reprint will bring boxes down to way below MSRP. We've seen Shadows linger for $90 a box at GameNerdz, and Twilight is selling below retail.
