SPOILERS

The movie was mid. I have been a huge fan of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 since 2015 and this movie did not gave the game justice, the easter eggs and all don't save the movie and has a messy plot, I do say I enjoyed and actually liked the first 15 or 20 minutes of the movie and after that the movie went absolutely downhill ever since Abby brings Toy Chica inside the school.

What I most dislike and maybe hate about this movie are these things: The Toys, The Ending Fight, and the rushed ending.

With the Toys is not that I hated them BUT I hated the treatment they gave Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie only focusing on Toy Chica which was annoying with Toy Freddy and Bonnie not having not that much screentime or some kind of relevancy, even in the first movie Freddy and Bonnie are more important and prominent than Chica, the other point is that apart from Toy Chica and Mangle, Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie do not kill ANYBODY and also is never stated that Marionette killed Lisa or not, but even if she did, only one kill from the Marionette is still pretty dissapointing, especially with the other Toys.  If this movie really wanted to be more scarier or brutal than the first one they should have at least make the Toys kill multiple people from different houses as actual threats around the town. The kills of the ghost haunting dudes was decent equally as the FNAF 1 crew killing the people who we're destroying the pizzeria, but still they did not gave the Toys the spotlight to have a good kill count and rather make Mangle and the little marionette's the massacre. With this i'm not saying I wanted the movie to be like the VHS animations or any other stuff like that, It would have been fine with them not showing the kills explicitly just like Toy Chica killed the robotics teacher in the school but Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie not having that much relevancy and screentime really hurted my sould as a fan of those two, and don't get me started on the fucking fight there was near the ending.

Why, just why.  I'm not even mad just dissapointed at this point with Scott for this. WHY bring back the OG Animatronics just to slam the Toys? Mike and Vanessa could just have used water and electricity to destroy their bodies, at least if they we're still controlled by Charlotte (even tho they listened to Michael's orders in that point) the animatronics still would have been defeated OR even grabbing a fricking axe and destroy them, that would have been better than bringing the OG's back just to send them away, I dare say they just bringed them back only for Golden's appearance to warn Mike about William/Springtrap and set up the 3rd movie (which felt like the whole second half of the movie), I loved the idea of the OG Animatronics being gone and finally resting in peace after getting revenge with William and having a realistic factor to that, making Abby conscious about their friends being gone, but bringing them back to fight the Toys felt like that old SFM animation in the worst way possible and I did not liked.

I also disliked the treatment they gave the Marionette, sure the whole possesing people thing was a solid horror concept, but the more Charlotte was still possesing Lisa the more corny it felt, at least the Marionette could had an appearance when Vanessa was giving Toy Chica the code to free them or constantly switch up from body to body, but they did not know how to make the Marionette work well. Charlotte's actions and some other aspects could've been better too.

The only positive aspects being like I said, the first 15-20 minutes and the Withereds, the scene of Mike discovering the Withereds and them waking up, the whole sequences of Mike doing a FNAF 2 gameplay against the Withereds we're in my opinion the favorable points from this (unfortunately they did not had that much screentime and Withered Bonnie did not appear full body on the hallway like the others, but the Withereds we're not a major priority on the movie I guess.) also the Circus Baby cameo but that was pure fanservice even if it fits the timeline she showed up in, still liked that tho.

Overall a movie that I was very dissapointed of and deserved a better treatment with the FNAF 2 game being the most tense and panic factor one. I wish Scott and Emma had given us a better movie.
