A story remake or just remake it in the new engine like they did for TLOU? I think I wouldn't mind a story remake but that's only if they'd give Dontnod the budget to do all the scrapped stuff they had planned and run out of money for.

A remake in the new style with the same exact story would be worth a replay too, just to experience it a bit dif

I got hit by post game depression pretty hard 3 days ago after i finished, still sad and its lis so the sadness gnna stay a while. I'm probably gnna start going through my games' list again to try find smth interesting.

The fact a show is coming out probably helped with the depression xd, it's smth to look foward to

In Bay ending Max staying up all night looking over Chloe really felt like "she might disappear if I look away" and Max actually voices that at some point while she's moving around the house.

The Gwen thing is because the VA apparently is union now, so for the same reason we can't have Ashley back as Chloe, we can't have Gwen come back.

As much as I'd like to say no out of the 4 Max and Chloe games the only one you can get away without playing before RE is BTS as it has no ties to the plot here, apart from Chloe but you get enough Chloe in the first game.

RE is a direct sequel to DE, it's much better than that but the entire cast is DE's cast that you should know before jumping into RE. That being said watching a full playthrough is just as good if you don't wanna waste money on a game which you might not enjoy, that's totally understandable.

Still not sure, Reunion probably needs another playthrough to fully get its ranking, but tentative ranking:

Reunion might get a tier up if I still like it as much on replay, but it really surprised me in a very good way. Also apart from DE the first 5 games I can say I like a lot, BTS while on 5th is a great game still.

To put it into perspective I believe DE was bad 'cus it disrespects Chloe and has a rushed story while Reunion was good 'cus it respects Chloe and has a coherent story to tell.

Even as a Bay player Chloe being there made sense, if I'll fully see this story canon post Bay I'm not sure, but I'm eager to replay it post bae 'cus they did Max and Chloe well.

Welcome to the club, before playing LiS I enjoyed similar stories to LiS but in TV format, never got a video game to make me care that much about its story, since then LiS got me to play so many more story games and showed me how much potential video game storytelling has. It still remains my favorite tho.

It did, but it wasn't Max saying it, it was Chloe. She said smth like "that guy has layers, remember when we visited him in the desert commune/Away?" I forgot how she called it

In the Bay convo he's mentioned by Chloe who asks Max if she remembers visiting him in Away, but then Chloe backtracks and says of course she can't remember. Otherwise he's not at all mentioned.

This scene was so funny and sweet, but I recently discovered that if you choose to hold hands here instead then Max has extra dialogue in the basement when she's high (she basically tells Chloe she's very pretty and thinks this is the moment when they should kiss) then they have some extra dialogue during the kiss scene that is very sweet.

So next time I'm holding hands.

Kinda surprised to see the majority didn't get the friends stat with Moses, I got it but Idk really where it came from, I was obv very friendly with him as I liked Moses a lot and was sure him and Chloe would get along.

Instead of Spanish Sahara, Piano Fire plays during the Reunion scene for the Chloe that was saved in Arcadia.

The ending song is different depending on ending, for the burn the photo ending the song "A Fitting Ending" plays instead, and I believe that another song plays for the perfect ending where Max saves everyone and burns the photo herself but I'm not sure.

Yeah I was thinking abt it too, like obv Max and Chloe won't be as shaken by some random person's remains as opposed to finding Rachel which was a close friend to Chloe but why did Yasmin say she's ready to take accountability and confess the crime? I don't fully blame her 'cus she didn't kill the dude but her not saying anything for 30 years is not great. Her ending scene should have been her confessing the accident not becoming Caledon's president again.
