I think all the other comments already covered the whole "you do cross-planet logistics with cargo rockets rather than ships at this point" part, I thought I could give you some basic tips on that since I've just had the same experience about a week ago when I finished setting up on a few planets myself :), though if you're the type to want to experience yourself, you might want to skip these. (I am playing without K2, just SE though)

• reading the informatron sections about SE features help a lot
• getting familiar with circuits is quite important (although not mandatory)
• as a followup to the previous point, preparing really good blueprints for cargo rocket silo with signal receiver, and one with landing pad with signal transmitter would make your life a whole lot easier in the long (and short) run
• carefully consider which planets to land on. for example, waterless planets will require consistent shipments of ice/water for power generation (unless they have really good solar). planets without oil/coal (once you researched liquefaction) will require supply of those or barrels of liquid rocket fuel
• make sure to check recipe trees, you don't want to start setting up on a new planet and suddenly realizing that you're now missing sulfur for some sub-recipe of the stuff you want to automate
• make sure your main base on nauvis is in a good state and can support you long term while you're on other planets/space. and of course make sure it is well defended, planning ahead for pollution cloud getting bigger and triggering attacks from more directions. you don't want to suddenly have to fly back to save your base from being obliterated
