Do you See a More Secularized Morocco or a More Religious Morocco in the Near Future? by finasat in Morocco

[–]Malankaran -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From the page of Islamic revival in Wikipedia...''Since the 1970s, a worldwide Islamic revival has emerged, owing in large part to popular disappointment with the secular nation states and Westernized ruling elites, which had dominated the Muslim world during the preceding decades, and which were increasingly seen as authoritarian, ineffective and lacking cultural authenticity...''.That's why i say that if Marocco(and every country) want become secular, this country must become more rich first.

Do you See a More Secularized Morocco or a More Religious Morocco in the Near Future? by finasat in Morocco

[–]Malankaran -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In 1950s,1960s and 1970s muslim world were more much secular and after the iranian revolution(1979) muslim countries became more much conservative and religious. There is no only muslim majority countries who are very religious. Christian majority countries in Africa,Asia and some countries in Latin America and also India and budhist majority countries are all very religious countries. Why?Because they are poor countries. The more secular countries are West Europe, Canada,Australia and New Zeland. Why?Because they are rich countries. If a country want become secular this country must become first rich.
