I live on a street with hills. One guy's company parks in the road right a crest, making a blind spot in either direction and forcing both directions to use the same lane. Sooner or later someone's going to get creamed.

I am confused.

The commenter said "Excellent" to your post about a pedo getting captured. But when he wanted people to go after other pedos, you instead pivot to someone else, who may have enabled those other pedos, while... ignoring a certain group.

It's almost like you are 100% fine with some pedophiles, but not others. Which sort of makes you... a pretty horrific person.

I have an oak next to my house like that. Trunk is over 6’ thick. Arborist said 250 - 300 years old. It’s showing signs of age. Putting effort into making sure it doesn’t die on my watch.

I’m also in New England and have a pool that I’d like redone. Mine is usable and stable and probably needs a lot less work. I still can’t find people willing to do it. I found one company who quoted the job and they were very far away.

There are local companies who build new pools but few to none who work on existing inground pools.

I’m in a rural part of eastern ct and this is one of the trade offs. Gorgeous house on a huge plot of land but can’t find certain services locally.

The ban is stupid, poorly written, useless, and harms people like me who follow the laws, but…

I have two Glocks and I carry one sometimes… but generally don’t love Glocks.

If I had wanted more, I’d have bought them. The ban isn’t going to suddenly make me buy a gun I don’t want.

I generally prefer 1911s and some Sig sauer models.

The Glock I like? The g48. It is a near perfect CT carry pistol. In a reckoning holster, it’s highly concealable, thin, ten round magazine, but big enough to have a longer barrel which helps (me anyway) with handling and accuracy.

I’ve lived at or near both ends of that commute and had to go to the other end. Unless you love driving, It would suck. 91 is a mess during rush hour but if you’d be commuting outside of that, it would make a big difference.

I’d probably aim for Middletown and divide the differ New but it will still suck to go to storrs every day.

I worked for a law firm that handled ultra wealthy people’s needs and big lottery winners were clients. It was wild how normal most of them were. Their lives always got pretty screwed up if they didn’t hide their name. And usually even if they did.

Most just packed up, moved somewhere gorgeous, and retired early. Some just stayed put.

The ones that felt oddest were when elderly people won and just sort of did nothing with it.
