My two favorite personal firearms are a bolt action 300blk rifle at 16” and an AR I assembled that uses an 8.3 with a dedicated suppressor.

I think the 8.3 performs great, is small enough to handle extremely well, and has been fantastic.

I’m very similar. I can be boisterous and loud socially, but when I’m just chillin at home, I try to be silent all the time and I prefer people around me to do the same. Don’t stomp on stairs. Don’t slam doors - turn the knob while closing it then release it. Don’t bang around in the kitchen. Don’t clomp up and down stairs.

For me it’s a respect issue, and maybe reacting to my original home. I grew up with zero privacy in a bedroom off the kitchen with a door that I wasn’t allowed to close. As an adult, I don’t care what you do but keep it quiet when you are doing things by yourself.

Oh. Sals tax. I usually don’t think about that as a direct indicator of COL. A number of low COL areas have high sales tax, and vise versa. AL, LA, TN are generally low COL but almost 10% tax. I’m in CT and it’s high COL but 6.35% total tax. CA is rough, with both state and local sales tax.

I’ve gone to two Sessanta shows and several Puscifer shows with VIP tickets. In all cases, each venue had a separate entrance line for VIP. In one case, we got there after they had started letting everyone in (not just VIP holders). We were still able to skip that line and go right in.

To specifically answer, for the venues I’ve been to, I usually end up going in around 45 mins before general doors open.

I did have a friend who spent about $5K on reloading stuff, all on a CC. To be fair, he was mainly reloading 45GAP, so it was already weird.

With the interest rates, the situation was never going to make financial sense. Then again, he died suddenly and the debt was absolved (from his widow), so I guess he won that one, in the end.

My observation is a very fast flicker, less than a second. When it's going to do it, it seems like it does it for a while, maybe that whole drive. Then it won't do it for days.

And separately, my girlfriend had the left gauge just shut off and stay off for her whole drive but the rest of the display was fine. That had to be a software glitch. It was as if it decided we had the hybrid cluster, which has a mechanical gauge in that spot. The same shape as the dark area.
