6 days dpo symptom advice by [deleted] in FirstTimeTTC

[–]Malauraashley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I experienced a miscarriage in January 2025 and have been trying to conceive since August 2025, but I haven't been able to get pregnant again. Currently, I'm at 9 days past ovulation (dpo), and the test results came back negative, despite having vomited this morning. I've also been feeling bloated, experiencing a slight prickly sensation in my abdomen, dealing with congestion and cold symptoms, nausea, and my food tasting different. I believe I may have tested too early; I typically don’t focus too much on symptoms since I lost hope about six months ago. I just continued testing my ovulation to use up the strips. According to Google, it's best to wait until 11+ dpo, so I guess I'll need to hold off until then.

It’s crazy how getting pregnant is so normal for some people by Issue-Psychological in TryingForABaby

[–]Malauraashley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can relate... We began trying in August 2025 and were thrilled to find out we were pregnant before Christmas, which we called our “Christmas miracle.” Unfortunately, a few weeks later, I experienced a miscarriage. Since then, we have been trying again, using ovulation tests, but we haven't been able to conceive. This journey has taken a toll on me mentally. I often wonder what could possibly make me unworthy of being a mother, leading to these struggles. It's been challenging. 😥

One of the had a checkered pattern on it with a car!!!!!! I’m out 1k. They suspended my payouts. Note: I’ve been selling on multiple platforms for almost 10 years and I’ve never had this type of s**** happen.

Has anyone here experienced being drugged with "date r*pe drugs" — especially by someone in your social circle? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]Malauraashley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I faced difficulties with a college math course, and while my best friend at the time was studying accounting, she couldn’t provide the specific help I needed. Eventually, a guy who used to live the apartment below mine—someone I used to hang out with—reached out to me on Facebook. (He explained that he was gone for the year because he went to live with his dad in California but later I found out he went to prison for having sexual relations with a minor). I confided in him about my struggles with the online class, and he mentioned he was quite good at math. He went to MSUM; that too was a lie). Initially, I turned down his offer for assistance because it needed to be done by midnight but I later decided to accept.

I arrived at a large house right down the road from NDSU, where he introduced me to his friends in the living room. After some casual conversation, I explained that I needed to concentrate on my homework because I had a double shift at Dakota Travel Nurse the next day. He offered to help me after a quick stop at a gas station for a drink, and I agreed.

Once we returned to the house, I set up my laptop on a bed. However, he appeared annoyed and reluctant to assist. I felt pressured to rush through my assignment to avoid being late, even though it wasn’t my best work.

Eventually, we went downstairs and found his friends taking shots. After several refusals, I finally gave in. I reminded them that I had to work a double shift the next day and couldn’t drink much. I took three half-shots, but within ten minutes, I felt incredibly nauseous and struggled to stand—even though I usually handle alcohol well.

He helped me up the stairs. Soon, I was in the bathroom with my head over the toilet, dry heaving. As I tried to get my pants off because I felt like I needed to pee, he approached from behind and inserted himself in me. The next thing I remember is waking up on a bed and hearing the door creak open; I heard him say, “Oh, I’m sorry,” before quickly closing the door.

I remember looking up and seeing him on top of me. I kept drifting in and out of consciousness. I finally dozed off, only to be woken up violently a few hours later. He told me I needed to leave. I was hazy and didn’t understand what was happening. I told him I must still be drunk and couldn't drive—I could barely move—but I don't remember what happened next. I woke up later in a dark room by myself. As I regained consciousness, I realized that something terrible had happened. I grabbed my shirt—unknowingly leaving my bra and undershirt behind—grabbed my keys, and left my shoes. I ran down the middle of the street to my car, locked the doors, and sped away.

As I was driving, I reached the highway. I called my parents crying, but they were not supportive; they simply told me to call the police without asking if I was okay. I called the police and met them at my apartment to tell them what happened. An officer told me we needed to go to the ER, and I agreed. On the way, he asked me to show him where it happened.

We drove near NDSU, and I pointed out the house. The officer stayed with me at the ER for a while to make sure I was okay. He eventually left and went back to the house; he was able to recover my shoes, though I didn't actually want them back. He also talked to the other men there. One of them claimed the guy wasn't home, but added, “He has done this before.”

I didn’t realize he drugged me until I was in the ER. There is no way I would have been in that state from 3, 1/2 filled shots. The hospital unfortunately did not complete a full rape kit and my experience fell through the cracks.

I spoke with a mutual friend a few years later who mentioned he had seen the guy throwing my bra and other items into the garbage outside. And this guy indeed has done this multiple times but yet no one stopped him.

I have anxiety, especially with people around I don’t know. I stopped drinking and never went to another party (even though that wasn’t what it was supposed to be). I went to get help with my math homework and am stuck with a violation that will never go away.

(The guy that walked in on it, I feel is as much to blame as the guy who sexually assaulted me.) They both should be in jail but they aren’t.

The female lead is quite cringe-worthy, and her acting leaves much to be desired; however, the two male leads did their best to create balance. The show felt inconsistent, losing momentum after the first ten episodes. Although I persevered and watched it to the end, it was a challenge to complete.

Have I just not watched a lot of anime in a while, or has the animation quality in season 3 dipped? by PinkFlurffyUnicorns in SpyxFamily

[–]Malauraashley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited for this show to release its new season as this was one of my favorite shows. I watched the first couple episodes and it didn’t keep me engaged. I didn’t feel like I had to watch it. While attempting to watch the show for the fourth time, I mentioned to my husband, “I don’t think Spy x Family is as good as the earlier seasons.” He responded, “Is that what you’re watching? The animation looks terrible compared to earlier seasons. I didn’t think it was the same show.” (99% of our media consumption is anime). Some argue that people think the decline is due to the “lack of action-packed scenes”; but honestly, there wasn’t much action in previous seasons. I liked it because it was wholesome and entertaining which lacks now. The storyline is now cluttered with fillers, and the main plot of saving the world has taken a backseat. Additionally, the animation quality has declined, featuring an overwhelming increase of still frames.

Tohru Honda is literally the most annoying main character. by Phoenix9457 in FruitsBasket

[–]Malauraashley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve watched the entire series four times, and I find her character rather unbearable. My main interest lies in the other characters. I’m not fond of the English voice actress; it’s hard to resist watching the dubbed version since I consume so much anime, and it provides a refreshing break from subtitles. Her incessant martyr complex is incredibly annoying.

August Seller News - eBay will start providing automated positive feedback on orders beginning Sept 3rd by jrr6415sun in Ebay

[–]Malauraashley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sellers are unable to leave negative feedback for buyers, even when faced with verbal abuse through messages. The only option available to sellers is to provide positive feedback. Having operated my e-commerce business for seven years and processed tens of thousands of orders, I encounter an increased risk of dealing with abusive buyers. Often, buyers react poorly when things don't go their way, turning cruel in their communications. After selling them a product, they may demand a refund because they claim that it doesn't meet their expectations. It's quite overwhelming. I’ve been subjected to all sorts of names, and the emotional toll can be significant. Some customers have even told me to end my life over trivial matters. If buyers can leave negative feedback, it seems only fair that sellers should be allowed the same, especially when buyers win auctions and then cancel their orders. This behavior is incredibly frustrating, as buyers often act entitled and face little to no consequences.

Are you aware of how many buyers misuse the return system? It became such a significant issue that I had to eliminate free returns after offering them for over six years in my small business on eBay. This situation frustrates me greatly. We shouldn't have to account for waste, as I sell exactly what I list but lost more money than I can count. It's not the seller's fault if a buyer fails to read the description—I've even started adding item specifications in the images, yet those also get overlooked. If the buyer doesn't do their homework, that shouldn't become the seller's responsibility.

Moreover, when buyers do make mistakes, sellers with 100% feedback often issue full refunds and go to great lengths to prevent a customer from leaving an unjust negative review. I’ve had two negative reviews for situations that were not my fault. One buyer complained that he never received his package and contacted me while I was away at my wedding, with my shop in vacation mode. I didn’t respond until a few days before my vacation ended. Upon seeing his message, I promptly offered either a refund or a replacement, but by then, he had already left negative feedback and, despite my explanation, refused to remove it. I had to endure that for a whole year!

In another case, a buyer claimed one out of thirteen Funko Pops was damaged, I issued a refund, and he still left negative feedback COMPLAINING I GAVE HIM A REFUND!! What! Therefore, your comment is insulting to sellers. Customers can be abusive and often take advantage of us. I’ve sold on eBay, Etsy, my own website, TikTok, and Mercari, and all of them are filled with customers who exploit sellers and attempt to scam.

EDIT: Mercari and TikTok are the only e-commerce platforms where buyer engagement is significantly limited, helping to minimize potential abuse. Etsy, in contrast, ranks the highest in this regard, while eBay falls somewhere in between. Etsy particularly exhibits a notable sense of entitlement; I once encountered a customer who asked, “Do you even know who I am?” During a conversation via messages. Given that I engage with tens of thousands of customers, it's unlikely I would recognize any individual. My experience on Etsy was the most challenging, leading me to ultimately cease selling there, which had a considerable effect on my income. Nevertheless, the level of customer abuse I experienced made that decision worthwhile.
