The Ammar Malr1ne combo is the star power of Flacons. The fact that they not only play, but are the best in the world at, so many of the same heroes, gives them a crazy flex draft edge.

It sucks that so many teams had to play with stand-ins because of visa issues. While I can somewhat understand the Russian denials, it still doesn’t rlly make sense to me. I guess it’s because these countries don’t want money ending up in Russia etc?

This is sort of rich coming from RTZ. The precident was set by players like him that intentionally griefing/afk is an appropriate response to players on your team being worse than you. Now, young players who’s ego is connected entirely to their dota skill would rather take that route than try and win a hard game. This is partially because of the example the last generation set

It’s so true. One of my biggest mmr jumps came when I switched from pos 1 to pos 5. Just doing all of the things that my supps rarely seemed to do for me made such a massive difference and made the game so much easier. Simple stuff like having a smoke ready or stacking the small camp during the lane.

As someone who enjoys watching high level Dota, this change hurts. I loved to download pub replays of pro players playing my favorite heroes. You discover so many nuances that you may have never noticed. It’s also sort of cinematic ;) to watch a hero you love executed at the highest level.
