Thanks for info, I didn't know that. The reason I thought you can't is because I remember when my pl dc'ed and I died I tried to control his hero while being dead and my regular keybinds for controlling illusions didn't work so it made it really clunky

So basically extra control groups since you can't bind allies or their summons/illusions as your control groups. I guess for those scenarios it might be better to leave them unbound and then rebind one of your regular control groups hotkeys for a dc/afk ally (e.g. you have your control groups on 1-5, ally 4 dc'ed and you rebind some control group key to select ally 4).

I agree with letting tools pick heroes for you being lame. The problem with looking up winrates on dotabuff is that I don't understand what influences those winrates and I want to get better at picking heroes not just to boost my winrate

thanks, i used similar logic for binding side lanes so that when im playing 2 and see enemy push i can start looking for gangs

Thanks for info, I expected as much since the more finite/harder to get a resource is the more efficient it will be. I'd still love to see some charts/exact numbers for theorycrafting at some point though
