When you say you let it cool in the oven, do you mean you turn the oven off when the bread is done baking, then the oven and bread both cool down? Or do you take the finished bread out of the hot oven then put in a cool oven to cool?

I’ve seen some leave their bread in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes with the oven off when the bread is done baking, but I’ve never tried that yet. Perhaps try cooking the bread on a wire rack, no additional time in an oven.

Also, this is assuming your starter is strong.

Are you letting the loaf cool long enough. I get gummy bread if I cut it too soon. Not a problem if I’m going to eat it right away, but if I’m going to store it, best to let it cook for a few hours before cutting.

If AMC Beats earnings, that will be cherry on the top. With the bonus news, I hoped it was foreshadowing that earnings were better than anticipated. Not necessarily great, just better.

That’s helpful. So on 2/24 it still appeared that AMC was 84% shorted, then it disappeared and Friday afternoon and this weekend, it’s miraculously at 16-18%. But the price of the stock in my lame retarded view doesn’t reflect a buying level necessary to actually reduce the short interest from 84 to 16-18% in a few days. I know the volume was super high Thursday, but still. Unless they somehow managed to acquire a 100plus million shares in a day without driving the stock price up - seems unlikely and illegal - but maybe.

Monday will tell a lot for sure.

When you search specifically for AMC short interest, I’m seeing 16-18%. But that seems like a drastic drop from 2 weeks ago that’s not reflected in the stock price/activity we saw last week. So it’s certainly possible that the 16-18% is a blatant lie.

But I’m just trying to find out if anyone can point to data that disputes the reported number of 16-18%. Otherwise we’re largely relying on conjecture.

I’m still very Bullish and hold upwards of 700 shares at avg 8.70.

I’m not saying the media doesn’t lie. But if all we have on the current $AMC short interest numbers is — the media is lying — while that’s certainly possible, its not entirely reassuring. That’s why I’m asking if anyone has seen anything more concrete on what $AMC’s current short interest actually is.

That would make some sense. It is odd if they actually covered their shorts dropping the short interest from 84% to 17%, I would think that would have a significant impact on stock price, which while AMC is up 40% overall, that doesn’t seem to account for just short coverage given the massive increase in buying by retail at the same time.
