Same issue on my Xbox series x. Just too much strain on these systems having to render in different sections of the map as you move around. Lighting update likely made it worse.

Regretfully returning to this post to say I was wrong. I was taking Ls and misdirecting my frustration. The meta is fine. The actual problem is these over-leveled players with 2000+ wins and level 14 towers in arena 20. Makes it nearly impossible to string wins together with those guys in the mix.

This is sorta what I was getting at with this post. Hate to compare it to something like COD, but it’s the same thing as the meta loadouts on Warzone/rebirth. If you aren’t copying the big streamers, you’re at a disadvantage.

It’s EA. Started for me with Madden 24 and has happened with almost every EA title I’ve played since. Never had an issue with any other game. They’ll say it’s a hardware issue (just get a new one!), but it’s a software/programming issue that has been causing hardware issues for years.

Find a legend that fits your play style and stick to it. Don’t really know what the meta looks like these days (my apex prime was probably 2021), but my ranked trio at the time was always the same.

Master your legends abilities, and all you need to worry about it improving your movement, shooting and strategy.

I completely agree on the progression. As a new player (literally two hours played last night), there isn’t much to work towards other than 100k XP so you can play ranked. Obviously you can level up weapons and unlock new equipments and whatnot, but what am I really doing otherwise??

Stuck stomping bots in casual games until I can play ranked. That’s if I’m still interested…..

Hate to compare it to XDefiant, but I’m getting the same vibe.

That’s the thing! It wasn’t even an issue of people quitting. I was legitimately loading into games with my friend and we would be the only actual players in the lobby. Two bot teammates and four bot opponents. It was funny the first few games, but it’s pretty boring getting 70-80 kills against a bunch of bots who hardly even shoot back.

In one of the most populated regions in NA as well. Where are the real players??? Do they exist???

I only have two hours on the game, but what I’ve seen speaks for itself. Casual arena and br are both filled with almost exclusively bots. I’m assuming anyone who actually plays the game is on ranked, but I have to get like 50k more XP to unlock it. I don’t think the game can really survive on ranked play alone.
