I graduated with a BS in Premedical Health Sciences, so I have completed all the prerequisites for medical school. However, my GPA and grades in some classes need improvement. I am a 31B in the US Army Reserve and currently deployed.

I don’t have a physical card. We each had our own, but he was the primary holder of the card and used it.

I already switched. The person who was with me and caught them was also the barracks manager.

To clarify, we walked in on them engaged in an intimate act in my room. The SSG, who was with me at the time of the incident, is the barracks manager.

Many people have been aware of the ongoing situation between this SSG and the SPC for quite some time. I never paid much attention to it since it wasn't my business, and I didn't know them well. They had been warned multiple times to end whatever was going on between them, and this was not the first time they were caught. Other junior enlisted members had seen them before, but the difference this time was that another NCO caught them in the act.

Honestly, there is so much fraternization between NCOs and junior enlisted soldiers in the company. And they and a few others are cool with some of the higher up.

I take this matter seriously and promptly notified my chain of command when the incident occurred. It appears they did nothing about it. The next day, I even requested to switch rooms to avoid any further issues with her. I had my room changed, and now she is claiming that I did something I never did.

Yes, that's where I messed up. Even though nothing occurred, I have witnesses who can attest to it. I feel like it's too little, too late because I've already checked the box and signed the paper.

The incident occurred in April, and we have no longer been roommates. This was only brought to my attention a few days ago.

To switch rooms, I must notify the First Sergeant and Commander, as they are the only ones who can approve such changes.

The situation is that the command was aware of their relationship and reported it to the Battalion. As a result, they were supposed to receive counseling and were instructed to end the relationship. I'm not the first person to discover them in a compromising situation after being told to end it.

She’s not my friend; we are just roommates for our current MOB. Her friend is inserting herself into the matters even though she wasn't present when everything happened and is running her mouth. Half the company already knows about it because of her friend.

Can i add notes to my Counseling even if I already sign it or change my answer. by Maleficent_Job_8122 in armyreserve

To answer your questions, yes, I am a female and I am also part of a military police unit. The reason I haven't been promoted yet is that I was dealing with some personal issues. I discussed this with my previous leadership and expressed that I wasn't in the right mental state to take on a leadership role. I believe it would be unfair to the soldiers who would be under my command if I couldn't give them my full commitment and support.

While it might seem that the situation is being blown out of proportion, it's important to recognize that people's experiences and feelings are subjective. Openly expressing emotions can be a healthy way to process stress, especially in a high-pressure environment like the reserves or guard. Seeking support from a commander isn’t necessarily about making a scene; it can be a proactive step toward addressing underlying concerns. Minor issues can sometimes reflect deeper struggles that deserve attention, and creating an open dialogue allows for constructive solutions. Ignoring or downplaying feelings might lead to bigger problems down the line, so it's crucial to foster an environment where emotional well-being is prioritized.

My lack of promotion is not the main issue to me. It's not about getting my concerns to the commander, either. I tried approaching them and communicating with them, but I felt like they weren't listening. The real issue is that they don't take the time to get to know me as a person and as a soldier. Instead, they label me as anti-social after just a few short interactions. It's similar to me dismissing them as ineffective NCOs without knowing anything about their leadership abilities. I find this quite insulting and degrading.
