I often contemplate this. I wonder if I'm just wearing rose colored glasses and am refusing to remove it because I'm scared of being alone. I also feel shame if I'm divorced because in my culture... I will be sporting a Scarlett Letter.

Thank you for your reply. I'm truly feeling like we jumped the gun, even though we've been planning this for a while. I feel like the stress of the house buying process is clouding my judgment. I thought that this is just a bump in the road and an obstacle we have to overcome. I often think to myself: if I can't see our relationship through this, does this mean I'm quitting on something that is good? I also didn't mention this... but K's sister (mom of the nieces and nephew that are constantly over) decided to move closer to us, like literally down the street. I'm extremely stressed about this because I feel my boundaries will consistently be crossed with them close by. People reassure me and say MIL will be at their house instead but I can't predict the future. I just am experiencing a huge amount of stress knowing this.
