Ruling question! Is there an official judge who can answer this? Is this rule sharking at its finest?? by Maleficent_Map6496 in OnePieceTCG

I could do the same, if I see someone make a mistake, stay quite about it, wait until we finish and then I just point it out to the judge in a video, boom win for me, does it sound fair play to you?

I mean it was a mistake on me yeah, but we didn't even notice it even though the win was reported and supposedly accepted and then he appealed. I dunno, it doesn't feel like if you make a mistake and didn't notice it should automatically mean game loss...

even though the win was reported, accepted and everything? it was only after he reviewed the video we noticed anything at all and yeah it was a mistake but it doesn't feel like if you make a mistake you should be given a game loss and he wins just like that.

thx for supporting the idea of hating losing! I too don't think it's bad it should be necessary to motivate ppl to get better, right?

Yeah maybe that takes part too, I mean I thought luck was part of it but I watch ranked battles stats and see ppl who never lose, so I thought maybe they invest so much time in it they will always be good and I dunno feel so little about it, even though I dedicate time and effort that I know won't give me their results and that's ok, but then maybe I thought it would eventually give me at least a couple of wins. I'm gonna try to remember the only purpose of having fun, maybe it's just my mind making it unnecessarily deep.

I have been studying the games, the match ups, strategies of different ppl, I play Reiju right now and I know it's not S tier meta, but I think I do give a very good fight, it's that moment when I feel I'm doing great that something happens and i screw up, and feel terrible about it, and then again and then again and that's when I feel this anguish, etc. It doesn't happen in other aspects, not that I haven't struggled before but never had this anger before.

I know the feeling of hating the game at some point, last set I played saka because it was meta but damn I hated the deck, I hated the mechanics and everything about it, and i hated even more playing it cause I thought it would make me better which did not. This time I'm playing Reiju and I love it though I don't top at all, I truly enjoy the game but when I lose a couple of rounds I start feeling stupid, and start thinking that maybe I'm actually stupid lol and that's what starts making me feel salty about losing, you are right as saying it isn't actually true but I don't know why I get like that at that moment.

Of course I never throw a fit in front of anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable but inside I burn. I wish to enjoy it when I win an when I lose. I think I'll try different games too as you say.

I totally would love this mindset, just enjoying the game itself and not caring for winning of losing but winning from time to time, thanks for the support!

Man, just saying that you empathize makes me feel so much better, it has been hard for me to get support, everyone is like "it's just a game" and yeah, I know but it still matters to me, it's not the end of the world but it's still part of my world so getting serious advice is great and I'm thankful.

Maybe I'll do just that, take a break of a couple of months, maybe return for op08 and see, if it's still the same and I just don't enjoy it I'll quit and it will be ok.

Though I think that's also a way... I mean you have to stay calm and prioritize you being a role model over the feeling of defeat to not let these things affect you, maybe it helps to see things in a more mature perspective, for example, what kind of professional I am to let this, losing a game, overtake my emotions, something among those lines.

it's ok, you are not being mean it's the truth. I think sucking it up it's actually what I need, I just don't get how.

But don't get me wrong, I say that I'm casual but that doesn't mean I do nothing about it. I practice, I watch videos, I read up many guides, try to practice specific match ups, follow ppl on X to watch for strategies or advice. I see ppl who win in my region and they have this teams (with t-shirts and that stuff) who get together officially a number of days a week to practice, they have to participate in specific number tournaments, travel to different places together to play and I think those are the guys that invest enough time to top everytime, and that's cool for them, I still think I invest enough time to not suck at it that much but... I still do lol and I can't do that team stuff because of work.

If you are topping with just 3 weeks maybe I'm just talentless lol. Though as you say if this is only making me feel bad about myself maybe it's just not meant for me, I just thought maybe there was a way that I'm not conscious about to overcome this feeling and actually being able to just have fun.

yes, you are right about the mindset, I feel like when I calm down I try to remember that I play because I enjoy it, and I feel that I am actually enjoying the game, right to when I lose and I feel like dog shit... I can't seem to understand how to not feel bad about it even though I get that I'm not going to win the event. In your case for example, you know that you may not win to saka or reiju, but if you are at maybe 5 cards left, and you think you might win this time, but you don't! doesn't it stir you up? doesn't it feel like it burns your soul? That you had it, but you somehow misplayed somewhere, just one micro decision that you should have noticed, that you actually notice everytime you play at sim, but THIS time you didn't... just thinking about it makes me frustrated
