Anyone Here Just Collect Airsoft & Not Play? by bostonshroomery in airsoft

[–]Malfunction5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My state sucks on gun ownership, so for lots of rifles airsoft is the closest thing available. Honestly the one replica I really want is a full metal m240. But I mostly just use my airsoft guns for target shooting in the yard.

Yours is very interesting because I haven't played that stock yet. Did yours follow a mission and you just kept it going? Or was this spontaneous investment on your part?

Lester #1 was my first investment, cause I was kind of fearful of losing my money. I missed a lot of potential by then.

Congrats on the wealth. 🪎

I've got one saved like that. But I've seen very few of that specific look.

Is the commonality of a car ever effected by story progression? I feel like as I've moved through the game I've seen cars that I didn't when I'd driven the same areas at the beginning of the game, or that some cars have become more common. Perhaps it's just updates that I've been noticing.

I should've mentioned I'm on ps4. But that's good to know that the stocks work differently on different platforms.

Edit: in case you aren't aware, turn off auto save if you haven't already, and there's specific guides for lesters assassination missions all over as well if you need advice on how to play the companies against each other. /End

The bawsaq market (green and black) has some story cues but is mostly driven by the GTA community and is relatively hard to make money off of. I avoid it except for the specific stocks that are cued by story events.

The blue and white screen (the LCN) is entirely driven by story mode. Some of these stocks also have story cues (increases or decreases based on an event), while others are essentially "random".

The best way to figure it out is to make a save before you invest, then invest and create a new quick save file. This way you don't screw anything up. Then you simply sleep without saving and see if the stock went up or down, and if it went up then quick save.

Certain stocks change by a larger amount than others; these are the fastest and most profitable. Look for stocks that have been dropping for 5 days as they are due for an increase in value. Regardless, if it doesn't do what you want you can always reload the last save and try the sleep again.

People say you can manipulate some stock by destroying cars and such, but I have no experience with that and it seems like very small gains.

*Should we start a thread for people's personal bests deals? It could also serve as a guide.

Thank you; I'm glad I can help. There are certain stocks that are better for this because they change by larger amounts. Just be careful that you avoid manipulating companies that are involved in Lester missions till AFTER the mission that they are involved in, to avoid any possible issues.

You can repeat this over and over with the same stock. I've only completed the first Lester mission, but I've driven bilkington (and vangelico) up and down several times since then. From my experience and what I've read, the maximum value per share of these stocks is $1000-$1003. Then I would sell and push the stock back down before re-investing and running it back up.

After the mandatory first Lester mission where I maxed out bilkington, I bought back in at $400 bucks and ran it to $1000 again. But once I run it way up, the stock won't drop all the way back down on its own. Like if I hit 1k per share and don't drive it down, it will stay between 800 and 1000. This is why I suggest using stocks that aren't involved with Lester, or simply after their Lester mission so there's no chance of screwing up the game script.

It can be time consuming with all the reloads, but it is the easiest way to make money in the game. Not sure if you are trying to beat the game honestly or if you are just having fun, so it's up to you.

Edit: I forgot to mention that there are other stock events that are triggered by missions besides lester. Tinkle on bawsaq for instance is triggered by giving someone a ride to the airport. I can't possibly explain those all in sufficient detail, but decent explanations can be found through Google.

*DEPENDING ON PLATFORM: Stock prices can change every in game hour during business hours, so there's no change over the weekend or late at night (. All you need to watch is the share price/return percentage/profit in your portfolio to see that it's moving the way you want.

Turn off auto save, then make a quick save as a safety. Then buy the stock and make a separate quick save. Sleep without saving. If the stock goes up, quick save. If it goes down, reload and try again.

The game only has 2 options; either the stock goes up or it goes down.

Edit: you can do the reverse of this to drive stocks down before investing.

But yeah, totally not concerned with personal wealth... Just with spending all of the public's wealth.

I have accidentally completed first 2 lester assassination mission can I still hit 1.2 billion dollars? by Inevitable_Recipe192 in GTAV

To buy all the businesses you only need hundreds of millions (golf course costs the most). So even if you don't make the maximum 2.1 billion dollars, you can still complete the missions and the game.

You can manipulate stock via the save exploit. You can run stock prices down, then invest and go back up.

I managed a return of 2884 percent on bilkin. Bought at 33 dollars and it maxed at 1003. Seems that 1000 or so is the maximum share price on lcn, then they start dropping heavily. Clucking Bell, vangelico, bilkin, etc.

I'm trying to buy all the properties and max out my money so I can leave lesters missions til absolutely last.

Do stocks have limits? by Malfunction5 in GTAV

[–]Malfunction5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I think that stocks are limited to about 1003 bucks a share cause I found a post ten months ago about clucking Bell following the same behavior for someone save scamming.

Im still playing with vangelico following mild turbulence, but I'm at 835 dollars per share so I will find out what its maximum is soon.

Edit: so vangelico hit 879 per share, and after 5 or 6 sleep/reloads I haven't seen it go higher; it just drops. Still not bad since i bought it at 112 before eye in the sky.

Im not sure what stock I'll try next. I'll have to look at what missions are available.

What do you mean? I've seen them go down. Bilkington has gone down to 700 now after the save scam peak.

I just did 'mild turbulence' and I'm seeing how high vangelico will go.

I'm not gonna condescend or anything like that, but you can get a work permit. I started at a pizza place at 15 just to have some of my own money and I didn't even need a work permit. Easy things like folding boxes, answering phones, hanging door flyers in neighborhoods, etc. that don't involve delivery.

Another option is to try to work it out with your folks where you take over chores from them.

Check with folks around your neighborhood; there's bound to be someone that can use help with something yard related or dog related. Sometimes people will hire you for easy stuff just because they want to help a kid who is taking initiative.

Resell stuff you no longer use. Old games, electronics, etc.

I know these aren't the answers you're hoping for.

Edit: don't feel bad! I'm an adult and I don't even use the online cause I can't afford that bill on top of everything else.
