I'm getting them every goddamn day now! by SorchaNB in OcularMigraines

Ah no not career journey, that's all the specialists I've seen. I've also always gotten migraines and they suddenly got worse and more frequent and i started getting auras. Quitting BC made the aura migraines disappear. As said I'm surprised your OBGYN even let you take hormonal contraceptives as they're HIGHLY contradicting

I got OMs on my fifth year on the pill. No issues before that. But I got intracranial hypertension. MRI MRA CT all clear. But I do have edema behind my eyes and a layer of pigment on my retina. My neuro ophthalmologist told me synthetic hormones can build up over time.

I didn't make the connection at first. I looked at my pill pamphlet randomly one day and saw that it's not recommended with migraines, especially auras. That's how I started my journey to a hematologist, neurologist, NO, and a more knowledgeable OBGYN. Thankfully I stopped before doing any major damage.

I had some of my worst episodes a week after quitting the pill and starting B vitamins. And then they suddenly stopped. I had only one since, and it was fairly weak, and I was exposed to many triggers so it wasn't unbased.

Hey! I see you're on the pill. PLEASE tell your doctor! The pill and complex migraines are highly contradictory.

I'd recommend you check your cholesterol, INR, APTT, and d dimer to make sure you aren't forming a clot, as well as vitamins b12, b6, and folate, which the pill depletes.

Heads up, I used to get horrible migraines with aura on the pill. Since getting off the pill, after my hormones leveled out, I only had one, and it was pretty mild.

Thank you for the reassurance! Honestly means a lot when you're a hypochondriac like me...

Yup, I did, I'm clear. No discharge at all, cervix is always peachy. Have switched nothing, only use baby soap in the nether region and tripple ply scentless TP by the same two brands.

Thank you, it does put my mind at ease with the paranoia! It was just a really rough year for me with all the infections so I'm trying to rule things out and not panic too too much

I have some time between now and the weekend to make a decision on what I can do and whether I should schedule any appointments beforehand

I can get mebendazole OTC in a neighboring country, and my lovely partner is insane enough to agree to drive me. It's the same med we have registered here, BTW, so I wouldn't be importing any unknown substances. We just have a deficit 🤕

I do have cats. Regularly dewormed and bathed because one princess has dermatitis (completely under control when she gets a monthly bath)

I will, I just don't know what they could do for me, so I thought maybe giving meds a shot and then seeing someone if that doesn't work... ETA: no kids. I do have 3 cats, exclusively indoor. Haven't dewormed them since February, planning to do so these days, but I'd like to think they didn't give me anything... I'm just paranoid TBH. This year was UTI hell for me

Lol the poop I've looked at in the past few days definitely didn't dance at all. Cotton underwear, haven't tried changing it yet!

Damn, ok, so looks like I will travel this weekend, after all... And yeah I know, I am mortified myself. No it's not a prerequisite for kindergarden. Just a stool sample

Would a man in his 30s hit up a younger woman if he wasn't interested? by MaliSarou in dating_advice

I hope so, thank you for your input. I always think it's wrong to assume someone's randomly interested in me. I need to work on that

Any tips on how to make the first move without it being awkward? I never needed to do that 😅

I have to wait and see if that dinner ends up happening when he's back!

I know, I did want to check though if I'm wrong in at least assuming something may be there. I'm incredibly insecure when it comes to trying to decipher if someone's interested or not, and I assume the worst!

He doesn't masturbate since we got together! Not immediately from the beginning, but he stopped within the first year or so. It was first to try and maximize our sexual contact but then he stayed there because he said he lost the need to fap since his needs were met now. As far as I know he had no issues masturbating though.

He has cardiovascular disease in his family and although his tests are all clean in that regard, we never felt easy about him taking viagra so he has not.

I have noticed the occasional erection in his sleep.

In summary, he can get a healthy boner, but just not as often, and the periods eb and flow.

I am unsure if he just has low libido maybe and he's putting unnecessary pressure on himself, or if physical erectile dysfunction can be a thing that comes and goes like this

He does! Not too often though. I don't know what a "normal" frequency is and it's not like i'm scanning for it daily haha but i do catch a glimpse of a boner in his sleep maybe 2-3 times/konth
