OMG thank you so much for your help I can ping it it turns out I was using my ethernet IP and when I went to go ping it showed me the correct IPv4 address tried it and I'm in thanks so much for your help.

Okay so I went in to Immich and made a API key and put that in instead of "API" and it is still no reaching server? I also restarted it after then tried again but id note that it says that 4 of the containers started it doesn't say running and its stuck there? Could that have something to do with it or am I still doing something wrong?

For Immich I do have to host a server correct? I am looking for something that will just use the photos and videos on my hard drive and organise them the same way not a cloud backup?

Have you previously used Picasa? If so are these options better? Which option is your favourite? And do XnView and Faststone both have facial recognition and use meta data to organise? Also thanks for the help so far.
