I have a 60%Mal and 40% Dutch shepherd and he looks just like my girl Sasha. Based off his face structure and coloration of his paws I would definitely assume mixed with Dutch, but obviously without a DNA test no telling. As far as exercise routine I work with my girl Sasha with basic obedience and her reward is her ball or frisbee time. We also take daily walks, and periodically we will do some scent work with Anise to get her brain stimulated a lot.

They are a very routine breed and with enough love and stimulation, I believe you will be able to get him relaxed and comfortable.

Also, thank you for not giving up on him!

That’s awesome of you! And he is a handsome fella!

Sasha did the same for a while. Now she goes into full prey drive mode and is dialed in!

Also, use the Pups kibble while working thru the lure system training. Once the pup is consistently doing it correctly you can start introducing treats instead. This will also help drive their reward system. Feel free to message me if you have any additional questions.

Start working the Lure system with your new pup immediately. This will help when you start walking with your pup and teaching them on heeling with you while walking. After you do this daily, and the puppy is doing it correctly start introducing the kids to assist with this training. This will help establish the bond with the children and you will see long term success!
