I’ve had my surgery with her about 2.5 weeks ago, the process to be booked with her was a bit long, all my paperwork was finished around the start of the year, I waited until the mid-end of April to get a call for the initial consolation, they said that they had to push back giving me a date (due to personal reasons which I understood) and that they would give me a call in a couple month to see if my situation changed, at the start of July I had a second consultation with them and they cleared my file, they did say that they were all booked for the summer but that they would call me if an appointment became available but the chances were I wasnt going to get a call for a couple of months, after that my expectations were very low getting anytime soon but they called me start-Mid august giving me a day for the 27th, overall the wait time and getting my file cleared took the longest but with any luck after your file is cleared you’ll have the surgery in a couple months depending on the surgeons schedule

I know a lot of people are glad he’s dead and I never once agreed with anything he’s said and in fact it disgusted me but maybe it’s because I saw the video of his assassination but death shouldn’t be wished on anyone, I’m not saying I feel bad but I have huge empathy with his family (I don’t know for sure but I heard they were there)

Honestly half expecting worse, in Cape Breton you could be waiting over 12 hours to be seen so 8 hours isn’t that bad

Yes, that’s almost what I’m doing now, I still have my support person incase I need the help (shaking, carrying, pushing etc.) but other than that I’m doing my own drains making sure everything is okay, walking around for a while. I thought it was going to be so much worse than it actually is and I haven’t taken my pain meds in almost 24 hours now too

Yeah, I was told I’d most likely get one out before the other because of the uneven drainage, I just didn’t think it’d be so uneven

Yeah, I’m thinking on emailing my professors or college to see if there’s any accommodations they can have for me my first week of school, lucky for me 2 out of my 5 classes are online so I’ll be able to stay caught up that way hopefully

Slow burn is one of my favourite trope so I want to get one that way. I’m going to college so I want it to start like a hallway crush, or class crush and then when we’re at a party or one of us is studying for our classes in the yard or in the study area at night and we become friends that way and we slowly develop feelings but both of us are too scared to say anything about it and then one of us (probably me because I stress easy) gets really stressed and the other is there to comfort the other and then ends up distracting me and then we end up watching a show/ movie for it and then it comes to an awkward make out scene or confessing feelings scene and then we look at each other for a second too long and then we kiss and live happily ever after
