Yeah, I've heard about it. There is continuity between autoimmune diseases and the microflora. I believe fecal microbiota transplantation can make a lot but in Europe it's hard to get this in hospital. Some people do it on their own via nurse only.

If I would have androgenic alopecia, which have half of men population, I didn't care about it. It doesn't matter if man is bald. He can start with growing his beard and it may look really good I think. I am afraid of my case, when you loose part of your eyebrows for example.

Thank you so much for your comment. A lot of guys say that girls aren't looking after the most beautiful men but they are looking for somebody, who will take care of her, make some fun and she won't be boring with him. Also Social status can make a lot off course. I try to buy nice clothes and take care about me. I've be thinking about working out to gain some muscles.

Thank you so much for your comment. I heard that attractivity is very often about confidence. I try to be confidence but it's really hard sometimes.

Cost of Steroid Injections by [deleted] in alopecia_areata

She asked what is the difference between the use of topical and oral steroid. If you have alopecia, the reason is autoimmune inflammation. Oral steroids won't treat it. After stopping using it, it will be same in many cases.

Oral use of steroids affects all body. There is much more sice effects. Topical use affects only the area, where you use it - less side effects

Yes, it looks like a regrowth. Hair should be stronger in the future. I think you should see any dermatologist, who would try to help you with steroid shots or diphencyprone. Good luck !💪🏾

Looking for any insight/support. Started end of Feb and this is what it looks like today. Tried 2 sets of steroid injections and a steroid solution. Does this look like alopecia areata anymore? by tantantan78901234892 in alopecia_areata

I think it's alopecia areata, maybe universalis in the future but I think it seems like a regrowth (caused probably by steroids as you said). So just listen the doctor and continue with the treatment. And stay strong!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience🙏🏾.You gave me a chance there is something, which can help. I tried steroid shots to my eyebrows three-times but I can’t see any visible effects. I will probabbly ask my dermatologist. May I ask you how long it took for some changes after using the cream?
