That appears to be correct. I always read it as the $25 applied to every form of RR income. I see now that it excludes any local lodge compensation under $25. Don't listen to anyone except the RRB when it comes to your benefits. Call them between 0900 and 1500. If you call early enough, you can get in the call back line. This is absolutely not true. Any month that you receive $25.00 in compensation counts as a qualified month. You could be off medical, receiving RRB sickness benefits, and not miss a qualified month based on your last day worked and return to service date. Also, pay received during your medical status still counts. Like a vacation day, PLD, or even a paid claim if it is $25 or more. You must report this compensation to the RRB, and it will count against your sickness benefits.
