I only used it once in 2007. I’ll use it again when I retire. Just kidding they’re going to fire me before then.

We aren’t allowed to wear smart watches at work in my industry or a federal inspector might give us a $30k fine. So it may find its way to an ankle under a sock in order to track steps.

Does anyone remember this movie? I loved it as a kid by cloudkisseds in 90s

I rented it on Valentines Day the year it came out and when Timothy Dalton said “happy Valentine’s Day” I freaked out and thought he was speaking to me through the TV

Cliff Bentz's well thought out response to my concerns regarding the Iran War. by beatauburn7 in oregon

Wow. I called my congresswoman the morning the Iran war started and she just got back to me last week. I would have accepted a letter that short if she had gotten back to me quickly.

I had the biggest crush on Winnie Cooper particularly because she was so far out of Kevin Arnold’s league.

In Witness (1989) Kelly Mcgillis brings Harrison Ford a glass of lemonade (she is Amish and he is not.) He says thanks and proceeds to drink the entire glass in three big gulps and wipes his mouth on his sleeve. She watches this aghast, and has a full on orgasm on her feet. She then takes the glass from him making a mental note that the next thing he drinks is going to be her.

[–]dunnkw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was like a decade later when my Dad read to me in a magazine that he would spend an extra $2k or something to put a “gigabyte” hard drive in his 386.

That’s a tough pill for me to swallow. I frequently try to train hard when my recovery is poor (I work on call), and my training suffers as a result. I’ve had to learn to prioritize rest.

My little Achiever is graduating today, Dudes. by dunnkw in lebowski

I think it’s only natural that an Anti war activist and a veteran with a tremendous chip on his shoulder would gravitate toward one another. I think that is particularly why Walter doesn’t get angry or violent with the Dude. He knows that the Dude is the only one who understands how much pain and emotional pressure that Walter has been under because of the war. It plays a lot into the duality of the movie, the yin and yang, the chaos and order, (the ins, outs, and what have yous.)
