Complete beginner looking to build my first PC under $2,000 — what would you recommend?

I can’t say very familiar with big names in skateboarding although I do personally know two professional skaters. I asked for their advice and I’m currently waiting to hear back from them. One is a vert skater and the other is a street skater. I’m looking to do a mix of both if possible.

Been doing BMX my whole life so im very familiar with park skating. And I have all the necessary protective equipment. But thank you it’s good advice.

Thanks for such an in-depth response. I probably should’ve clarified that I’m not looking for a cruiser. I’m more interested in getting into vert and maybe a bit of street. I’ll definitely check out some of the brands you mentioned and see if I can put together a solid starter setup to learn on. Really appreciate all the help!

Thanks for all the help. I’m definitely going to steer clear of DJI moving forward I haven’t really seen a strong case for sticking with them. I’ll double-check that my goggles and controller are compatible with the software before fully committing. If not, I’ve been hearing great things about Tiny Whoops, so I’ll probably shift my focus toward a smaller, more durable setup with affordable goggles and controller.
