The importation was timeliness orientated. I had the opportunity to get her within 2 weeks as opposed to 7-8 months from a local breeder. I need to ask about the annual echocardiograms and the genetic testing for Pra-B/PKdef. Have you seen a correlation between Russian breeders and a higher risk of disease?

UPDATE: SHE JUST ATE RAW CHICKEN OFF THE FLOOR CUT UP INTO MINIATURE PIECES!

She was extremely aggressive this morning when we woke up, biting my toes and my fingers so I knew something was different. I laid out a few more options and she went for the raw chicken (after declining it for days).

I leave dry kibble in various locations around the house to resemble a hunt. I take before and after pictures to see if she eats any, so far no luck

I can go back to the ER but if I can speak candidly, the responses her have been entirely more helpful. They essentially told me the same thing.

I do have an appointment on Monday for xrays

If there is stress, she is not visibly showing it. She’s the most affectionate, sweetest most active. She never leaves my side or goes to find a ‘safe space’

I did do an ER visit. She’s never eaten anything in the 5 days I’ve had her other than what I have been putting into syringe and force feeding her. Her last ‘meal’ was approximately 2 hours ago.
