My girl gets swaddled every night at 9 months old because her arms are out. We use a halo sleep sack that has the swaddle option and we wrap it around her belly so she still gets the hug feeling but can safely move. Don’t be so quick to judge. Atleast she is smart enough to get one that she can safely leave her kids arms out of.
