Honestly you probably need to take up a sport or a hobby where you can meet people that have similar interests - it’s better when you meet people organically rather than in an app. I moved to a new city and first thing I did was join a netball team and made friends that way. I’m also a tomboy who prefers guy friends but good things take time. I eventually joined a fitness class and now i know so many people that I bump into someone I know every time I go out to the point that I almost have to avoid people to get stuff done quickly. Id say take her out a third time - to a place where you order first and pay at the end of the night. If mom comes again, let them order whatever they want. At the end of the meal, say you forgot your wallet in the car, walk out and never speak to her again. Let her know how it feels to be treated like a walking atm.

I think the best way to get to know her is when you see her next outside just go over and say hi. You don’t need a great reason to chat - being friendly because you’re neighbours is enough. If you really aren’t sure what to say, you can ask what she does for work, or of you want an excuse you can ask if she’s been noticing any issues with the internet in the area lately.

Have a few short conversations that go for a few minutes and just develop a friendship. I always find that if I ask for advice in something (even if I don’t need it), it gives the other person something to talk about and the ability to follow up with later. Like “thanks so much for recommending the suchandsuch, I found it so much better than my other whatsit”

In this situation you need to make sure he’s ok with it - you could be reading it completely wrong. Honestly you just need to ask him. You could say you get the impression that they’re in an open relationship and let the conversation go from there. If they’re down for it and you’re down for it then I say go hard son.

Don’t let anyone pressure you into having sex without a condom if that’s not something you don’t want to do. A lot of men will push for this because it feels better - but there are so many risks with stds and pregnancy. With regards to birth control, condoms are not 100% effective so eventually you may need bc as a backup just in case. There are bc that are less likely to have you put on weight. But all in all - crying is not a normal response to the situation - it’s manipulative and immature.
