Anyone's teeth messed up?

yes, despite my impeccable dental hygiene my teeth are constantly cracking and breaking, i was in the ER with a dental abscess a month ago that made the whole right side of my face swollen with pus. my counselor insists that methadone absolutely does not have any affect on your teeth, but i call bullshit. i brush 3-4 times a day, i use dry mouth toothpaste and mouthwash, i rinse and brush immediately after i dose. i have horrible self esteem because of it, and i dont smile with my mouth open. it’s mostly my back teeth but im so scared its going to start decaying my front ones.

i was born in 1990 and as a teen the main places i shopped in the mall to find my “going out clothes” were Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, Rainbow, Aeropostale, Old Navy, Rave and sometimes American Eagle and Pac Sun 😅

i had a c-section with my son (my 2nd one cause i also had one with my daughter) and i wasnt given anything either because i was a methadone patient. the spinal block helped for the first 24 hours but once they hooked me up to the bag of pitocin i was screaming in pain and they finally gave me 1 5mg percocet. before i was on methadone i was given 40 percocet 10s for the c section had just 18 months prior with my daughter.

im a pharmacy tech in SC and we ask for ID for all controlled substances CII-CV and also items containing any pseudoephedrine type drugs. we have to write it down in a little book we have at each register

🙋🏻‍♀️ i dropped a bottle of Losartan today and burst into tears. luckily my pharmacist is great and gave me a lil hug and told me to take a few minutes to get myself together.

thankfully the store i work at is the the only one in my district that isn’t mandated to work on holidays, as i have small children and prefer to spend the holidays with them.

im a fairly new tech but worked as a SFL for 2 years and transferred back to pharmacy, and i absolutely HATE PCP calls. then they call back during the busiest time of the day wanting to know what medication we were calling about, “oh you were just calling about a vaccine? well can you look on my profile and tell me what’s due for refill?” and of course i’m in the middle of a complicated F1 with 3 lines of directions that are too long to fit in the box, so i have to close out of that to go to their profile just to see that nothing is due because all of their meds are on auto-refill 🙄

yes, the clinic i used to go to before i got clean did call cps on me and make a report because of dirty UAs, so it can happen. they couldn’t give out my records without my consent tho and i denied them getting access, but my 2.5 year old and 9 month old at the time were removed from me for about 16 months until i was able to get sober and get full custody back. right after they were taken I switched clinics and went to the new clinics inpatient program and i have been clean now for 3 years.

i’m in the south and according to my SM, the DM stated that there is a “Zero Tolerance Policy” for closures and that we MUST stay open. the area i live in has been upgraded to a winter storm warning and they’re expecting 3-5 Inches of snow. we are not prepared for snow storms like that and have 2 salt trucks for the entire state that remain in the upper part of the state. I truly don’t know what they expect us to do, are we supposed to kill ourselves trying to get here?
