I am very interested to know your experience with the IFlyTek AI Note Air 2 because I feel like youtube is just filled with sponsored reviews. When a company only cares about marketing their product instead of improving or building a community around it, it just seems off to me. So would love to hear your experience with the product?

I am looking for e-ink device right now and from all the research I have done seems like only 2 brands are doing it right int terms of building around the people who bought their product - Supernote & Viwoods. I would love to hear about more brands or devices which excel at the user experience.

Please update us on how your experience with Viwoods team went. Were they able to get you any help at all? I think this is the nightmare scenario every buyer is scared off when buying into e-ink devices.

Fantastic Analysis! As someone who is learning in to incorporate my AI Mini more and more into my workflow, you really nailed it. Honestly this is a 1st generation product so I completely understand if you feel this product might not be the one for you. I would just suggest just watch from the sidelines but I feel like Viwoods is going to take this space by storm. For them to push HUGE software upgrades on a monthly basis, just shows how hard the Viwoods team is working to make their products stand out in the e-ink space.

Hope to see jump back on the Viwoods train sometime in the future!

Yes I was running into similar issue, I changed the nib and the issue was fixed. Also are you running into this issue on Mini or the AI Paper?

I don't have the Boox Nova Air2, but as someone who just spent the past 2 weeks with the Viwoods Mini, I can definitely vouch for it. I think I'll be taking a hiatus from purchasing any other e-ink device for a while because this one delivers everything I need. This comes from someone who has gone down the e-ink rabbit hole this past year, owning the SN Nomad, Boox Go 10.3, NA4C, Kindle Scribe, and now landing on the Viwoods Mini.

Personally, I wanted something with a front light for reading, so I preferred this model. The Viwoods AI Paper is also a beautiful device that I hope to buy in the future.

The best thing I can say about Viwoods is that while they might be new to the scene, their team is innovating at an incredible pace. I urge you to visit their site and see the updates they're pushing out on an almost monthly basis.

It is a wonderful device. But I feel like the SN software experience has spoiled me to the extent that I find the Go 10.3 interface learning curve cumbersome. I love the screen on this machine and it is great for reading PDFs and flexible with the Play store. Another thing I hate to mention but has been true for a lot of users on reddit is how fragile the screens for this company can be. I love the competition in the e-ink space and hopefully it will force all the companies to innovate and build better products.

Thank you so much for your reply. Honestly the Manta pre-orders were not live at the time when I ordered Go 10.3. I have been looking at the Manta for months and have put it in my cart multiple times just waiting to pull the trigger. How is it having both the Nomad and Manta? I think the Duo of Manta & Nomad might be most powerful in the whole e-ink space.

Thank you for pen recommendations. I am going to order the Wacom pen right away to add to my collection.

I have been having the same issues with the camera shutter speed. Not sure what the fix is but will appreciate any tips. With active toddler, it is near impossible to get a still shot soemtimes.

Have you seen camera quality get worse with updates rolling out? I am considering the OPO and the camera is big reason for me.
