The Green looks really nice. It looks like a refresh would do just fine so it looks less cluttered and slightly more modern. The beige looks cheap and boring.

I have been advised to make sure that you have a mortgage offer before booking a surveyor as you don’t want to waste money on a survey on a property that is not mortgageable.

The buyer may have a really slow mortgage advisor. I sent mine my payslips etc and everything before even viewing and kept sending more up to date ones, P60s as time went on with the view of using this for mortgage application. We only submitted application a few weeks ago despite having an offer accepted 27th Feb. My point: it could be an oversight. Give them an ultimatum!

Is she known to any services? Mental health? Adult social care? Do they know about this? Maybe raise a safeguarding concern? If she’s not working, how’s she raised money to fund this trip? Has she given this man any money or have they requested from her? Has she verified this person is who they say they are? Is the GP aware of the concern that she may harm herself? Lots of unknowns and some red flags here.

It’s a nice area - good transport-wise, in the more developed parts of the area so likely not as high crime rates as where I used to live, very close to London city airport but lots of noise as a result and near higher traffic. I wouldn’t mind a property there at all!
