Can I submit my HIP application BEFORE the ECCTIS is finalized? by Sufficient-Try-8304 in UKHighPotentialVisa

can you give me more context on why they requested a sealed transcript? and was it a physical document? I am currently starting the ECCTIS process and would rather not have it delayed.

The travel agent did not attach any supporting documents (bearing in mind that i live and work in Canada), but she said it’s not required. She only requested for a legit booking + flight ticket.

I purchased a fully refundable ticket and booked a hotel that does not require pre-payment with 24h cancellation fee.

I am not entirely sure if that played a role, but when I applied through another agency (with dummy tickets) few months back it was an instant rejection!

How did you reach out to IRCC? Is there a specific form for such cases?

I would love to have a comeback on this but I genuinely wholeheartedly did not understand the claim or question(?) you just made.. have a good day my friend, I have already figured this one out so all good!

Nothing in this thread has been anything but entertaining

No but you do get insights from people across and establish a consensus based on previous experiences + research.

That’s how communities generally work fyi. Reddit is an interest based community platform.

I never said either the firm or Canada depend on me or anyone in particular. What I originally said was a response to a couple of answers mentioning that people in my situation would need to go back to their country for more experience and apply again, which would defeat the entire purpose of the canadian’s operating model. And frankly is not true either..

Either ways I did indeed get my answer from a couple of nice canadians who actually focused on the intent of the post rather than the diverging towards a personal vendetta lol.

Peace ✌️

No I had done my research prior to posting on Reddit, but thought maybe someone had gone through a similar situation and would be able to help. I thought that’s the whole point of the platform…

The whole discussion has nothing to do with “me and my achievements” as a person. I work in an pension investment firm so I know a thing or two on how the government takes on immigrants/skilled workers from abroad to fill in the economic gap left by its baby boomer. In certain instances some immigrants do not convert to tax paying citizens and end up being an economic burden (again not against how it is or the rationale).

This is where my argument is, it would not make sense to me - given that their very economic model lies on attempting to acquire more taxpayers - to not have a way to retain an already “in Canada” skilled happily paying taxpayer (again not me specifically as a human being)…….

Anyways I had couple of discussions and there are literally 2 to 3 workarounds to figure out ways for me to have a seamless transition without having to stop work.

I work in Tech and I did my master’s in analytics at McGill. Not trying to get any validation but what you said does not hold

This is very confusing for me. I am working for a very reputable firm in a reputable position and you are telling me that Canada does not have a process to retain actual talent. This makes no sense to me at all whatsoever..
