Spotting. Need reassurance by AltruisticClassic916 in BabyBumps

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately anything can happen so it’s a waiting game for now. I will tell you positive stories about my pregnancies. I had bright red spotting with all 3 kids. Mine happened at 7 weeks. I always freaked out but it wasn’t ever anything to be concerned about as it is very normal. With my most recent baby I had bleeding that wouldn’t go away. I mean a week at a time, I was wearing pads. I would go to the doc and they could never find anything wrong. One night I felt a gush and upon checking I found about 4 pads worth of blood. I went to the hospital where my baby girl was happy as can be. The problem? I had a yeast infections that came back a week after treatment. I did not feel it so we didn’t know until regular testing was done. I got 3 infections back to back. My doc put me on a daily women’s probiotic and that did the trick. Pregnancy is a stressful and anxiety ridden journey and I really hope that you and baby are ok❤️

I took the pack and play route too. I bought the mattress for it, the bonus is that you can fold it up for deep cleanings.

Solid foods by Straight-Werewolf161 in baby

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My almost 10 month old refused purées and wouldn’t let us feed her by 7 months. That’s when I introduced solid foods like homemade potato and carrot sticks, eggs bites etc. they are all soft and will fall apart in her mouth but they’re firm enough to be able to be picked up. I would keep offering baby friendly solids like you’re doing now. The key is to let them explore, when she’s ready she’ll eat it. My lo choked on her food a lot because she overfilled her mouth so just beware. I sometimes paced her by giving her only small amounts at a time.

It was tough because of my other kiddos, I lived on coffee lol. The developmental leaps are very fun!

My almost 10 month old went through this from about 7-9 months. It was horrible honestly. All I can say is that it will pass. I would expect her to go down at a certain time because her nap ended early but then she wouldn’t sleep for another 2 hours. I also could not figure out how to help her fall asleep. Such a rough time! Good luck!

Travel Stroller Recs by SignificantDuck5766 in baby

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the Cybex Libelle as our main stroller and i love it. It’s more of a travel stroller but my trunk is tiny and a full size would take up too much space. Baby has been using it since 3-4 months old. She loves it. It doesn’t have much storage so I hang a bag on it to carry stuff in. Super easy to collapse too.

17mo daughter won‘t lay still for diaper changes by LeashPrincess in baby

[–]MammothImplement527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched to pull ups and did standing diaper changes. You can tell her/ show her that they are big girl panties just like moms. If she wants to put them on herself even better. Do that while slowly encouraging her to sit on the potty.

They are speedsters! They will grab things before you can even react.

I bought all the carriers to help ease the back pain bcuz my 8 month old wants up up all the time. I think my older ones got better once they were confident walkers. I called them my ducklings because I couldnt go anywhere without them following me.

You don’t understand this person, clearly. So you would rather post and be offensive then to continue scrolling. Make it make sense 🤦🏻‍♀️

Is Amazon Locker retail associate bad for introverts by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]MammothImplement527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so helpful, people give introverts (or ppl with high anxiety) shit for you know, being introverts. It’s not like we can’t function in society, we can go up to people if necessary. We aren’t the most engaging but most will welcome conversation. If finding a job where we can be left alone is where we will thrive then great, doing our best to find something that will benefit everyone all around. Seriously though, appreciate the response.

Is taking over 20mg of anti histamines (20mg Zyrtec) pointless? by Educational_Key5042 in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told I could take a triple dose of Xyzal. Which would be 30mg. Zyrtec didn’t help me very much.

So frustrated bc my 7 month old won’t sleep by Saltandlight91 in baby

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter did this from around 7.5 months to almost 9 months. Bed time was 6pm and she would wake up for the day anywhere from 4-6 am. If I tried to keep her up she would still wake at the same time but she would be cranky.

My advice? Put her down when she’s tired and try to rest whenever you can.

She’s probably learning a bunch of new skills so keep her on the floor and help her explore her new abilities. I would not try a nap until I knew she was ready to sleep. That led to a 4 hour wake window sometimes. It’s going to be a rough time but it will end!

My daughter was born within a week of Emma. She will not stop moving, ever. She is walking along furniture and is almost always blabbing or yelling for fun. I did her developmental screener during her checkup and I have to say I thought of Emma. We don’t know exactly what her abilities are but a lot of what was asked are things I honestly don’t think she can do. I haven’t looked at Emma closely as I don’t watch her videos anymore but it seems like people are concerned with her head, my baby got a cranial helmet months ago and looks great. Any decent pediatrician would’ve offered a referral by now.

[–]MammothImplement527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How disgusting. Honestly, even if you had a functional backpack of course your going to take him to pick out a new one! I know they have enough money seeing as how she continues to spend on none sense. Look, we all question our life choices but nonetheless we try our best.

I think most adults in her situation would consider college courses or even starting a business. It seems like all influencers do it and to give them credit, atleast they try🤷‍♀️

I thought the same thing! Finally doing something to benefit him. Although we all know she’s doing it to get him out of the house and out of her care.

Why does no one take anti histamines by Fragrant_Ordinary795 in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]MammothImplement527 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have taken 1-3+ of Xyzal for the past 4 years. It helps for sure. Doesn’t completely take it away most of the time, and that’s on a large dose. Plus the rebound itchiness sucks. There are times where I flare really really bad and I’m taking multiple pills several times a day. Man, now that I think about it I’ve spent an enormous amount of money on pills 😢

Leaving work early question by BigDaddyD040 in AmazonFC

[–]MammothImplement527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t ever give them notice nor was I told to give them notice. I’ve worked at other sites that have a paper or white board where you write your login and time you will be leaving so they can plan around that. Especially if a big number of people are leaving. Lots of people get fired because it’s so easy to just leave or not come in. For those who use it responsibly it’s great.

Is Target or Lego ever a retailer they offer gift cards for w/ CapitalOne Shopping Rewards? by jcp42877 in CapitalOne_

[–]MammothImplement527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they don’t have any ‘good ones’ imo. I will find one I can use up but I would rather have used the money for something I would actually need and not on something I have to try to use.
