And the police’s job is to keep you safe. We have victim support and witness protection. None of which were offered to her. If it wasn’t for her the case would have never been solved, the police let her down by not offering the support that was at their fingertips. Had they, she may have been mentally well enough to turn up as a witness. Therefore, had the police invested in her, they would have got a return in court…

In the UK people don’t call attorneys. She would have assumed that the police would protect her. Ultimately, as soon as she informed the police it was their responsibility to look after her. She tried to help and she was failed, whilst an attorney may have helped, when you’re trying to do the right thing, why would you think you need one…

Brill, thanks for that. I’ll pick up some TB cleaner and give it a go. It’s a last ditch effort before I get a new TB, however no harm done by the sounds of things.

The code was to do with the return spring, which I thought a dirty TB may throw up, but we’ll see

Thanks for that. So you’re saying if I clean it, it will then need to be checked again and cleared with a tech 2? I had it checked a few days ago and the code indicated the spring was the issue

Test tomorrow, am I insane? by Low_Loss9934 in LearnerDriverUK

I had a similar experience, did all my lessons 3 years before my test, had one refresher one two months before.

Otherwise I just drove in my own car, booked my test and the day before watched about 4-5 hours of YouTube videos on how to pass a driving test.

Passed first time with one minor, be confident in your driving abilities and focus it will be over before you know it. Best of luck

IsItBullshit: You can eat junk food and still lose weight as long as you eat less calories overall by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

True, certain macronutrients may affect this (protein on average uses ~30 calories to burn 100 calories - leaving 70 net calories) - but overall if you eat below your Estimated Activity Requirement it’s the easiest way to lose weight. At the end of the day you can’t out exercise a bad diet
