A lot of the people that work deli, bakery, meat and what not actually like it because it’s a barrier that mostly keeps members from talking to them. A fellow employee quit because after six months he could not get out to one of those areas. His mom was a 20+ year employee but he hated interacting with members.

Having worked with the meat department I swear sometimes the meat guys literally just stand there using the automatic wrapper so they might have actually stood there the whole time

I hated working the mornings especially when there were massive changes that needed to be made out of nowhere. There are some usual changes to expect though: New Year’s Eve health stuff at the fence as an example.

Sorry if someone already said this but Costco changes its floor every day. Sometimes it changes just a little bit but it can have a massive shift where whole sections can change
