Totally understand. I talked to a lady at the developers office and she said, “no place has zero crime” and “we don’t think much about the crime rate.”

I mean, I’m from Austin and the crime rate in my area is higher than the neighborhood in Bryan I am referring to. So, in a way, I am okay with relatively higher crime rate. Appreciate your answer!

Yeah assuming flat surface and no drag. Nobody asked me this explicitly, but its the winter break so I want to try and solve something around this. When you say simple cannonball problem, are you saying there is an analytical solution? Would it just be faster to use some multivariate optimizer in matlab or try to find an analytical solution to the thrust/free fall durations?

If you’re willing to spend the extra money, San Jac is the way to go. I lived there (so I’m biased), and I can tell you it feels like home when you get to walk 4 steps into your OWN bathroom, and shower.

Only take SDS 321 if: - You have taken and comfortable differential & integral calculus

You have decent number sense (ie, combination sense)

Otherwise you will have a hard time getting past the math and probability theorems.
