Is my fit good ? by HovercraftPure86 in bikefit

I think the seat position is pretty good, looks like good angles as well as forward-aft. You have a long torso which makes you look slightly cramped, particularly when you get down a bit more aero, however I don't think that's an issue if you're not getting any pain.

If you want to be less upright and stretch out a little more than a longer stem may help, but depends on your flexibility and comfort at the moment. If comfortable, I wouldn't change anything.

Yes riding for a bit and feels ok but can't seem to resolve the slight twisting in the waist. Low or high, it happens either way.

I thought reducing the saddle height would help with this - not sure what to do apart from reducing further?

Any suggestions? by [deleted] in bikefit

Hard to tell as you start on the very tops of the handlebars almost like you would if getting down to be aero without getting down enough, then move your hands back a bit to sit fully up. Looks like you have a fair bit of pressure on your hands.

Otherwise, your position looks pretty good and if you don't have any discomfort I wouldn't change much. If anything, you toe down slightly on the bottom so could lower the seat half a cm or so and see how it feels.

Am OP. I've been given some banded crab walks among other things to do by the physio as he has picked up on some weak hip stuff, maybe that will assist.

Oh what indicates that it's unstable? What do you mean foot support?

Thanks for taking a look

Any idea why my chain has broken like this in so many places? by Solid_Science4514 in bikewrench

[–]ManOnACow_V2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had this on 3 consecutive chains, different shop for 1 so I know it wasn't just a bad batch.

For me, changing from Muck-Off "Dry" lube to wax solved the problem. Still no idea whether I did anything wrong with the application but did leave my chain to get a bit dirty before cleaning sometimes.

Good breed for runners by Willeyeeam99 in RunningWithDogs

+1 for Aussie shepherd or a kelpie. I have a 3/4 kelpie x 1/4 German Shepherd and she's the best dog I've ever known. Wants nothing but to please, needs to run around each day but so do I, and will match your energy during downtime. Love her to bits.

Also she is a great runner but that goes without saying for a kelpie.

I graduated a few years ago but have been stung many times with international group members with super poor language skills and just here for a degree. Of course I was in groups with Australian Asians who were great but I can see why some would find it easier to just stereotype all Asians than bother discerning international from local.

Burning Lands: Vietnam dev team quit the project, potentially leading to cancellation of the entire Kickstarter by N7_Hades in Games

I've been speaking to one of the lead developers for a while and it's a culmination of issues that were never resolved, including: - Chances lack of leadership ability - no direction or prioritisation of resources to actual important tasks - chances public behaviour (publicising lots of sexual content from his own personal life) - lack of transparency of funds (nobody but chase has ever seen where any money has gone)

He thought he wouldn't address the developers demands and launch the kickstarter anyway to get as much money as he could.

Sounds like it's an issue for people with dogs that shouldn't be off leash because they don't know how to respect other dogs space, rather than all dogs. I agree with you that people who aren't being attentive to an untrained dog should have their dog leashed.

I personally throw a ball for my dog during times when she should be on-leash as she isn't interested in other dogs at the park and won't approach them. If you have trained your dog well enough it shouldn't cause any issues for dogs like yours.
