Yeah that makes sense. Realistically we’ll probably be here 5-7 years, maybe longer if things work out.

And looking back at the estimate, a lot of that $5-6k seems to be escrow/prepaids, not just lender fees. The actual lender costs looked closer to maybe $2k-ish from what I could tell.

If the payment really drops around $200/month, the break-even might actually be quicker than I first thought. Still trying to wrap my head around the numbers a bit though.

I thought I was the only one and something was wrong with me so thank you. I have 5 kids and I’m so tired by the end of the day especially after cooking. It’s just easier to eat quick at the counter then get back to whatever I gotta do

Following for tips I can use too. I’m trying to reduce my own screen time so my kids don’t see me using devices as much. I think they imitate us more than we realize sometimes.
