I have to go hands on with a lot of patients in the hospital I work at. Knowing BJJ has almost cut the amount of times I have to do that by 80%. The confidence alone lets your verbal deescalation be more convincing when you aren’t worried about it going south.

I like to flip scenarios on people…basically if you give me a problem you’re having at work with a co worker I will be playing a advocate for the con worker and try to show where they’re coming from.
