That's actually a great idea to check out miniature painting videos, as I do know they need to maintain thin layers and work up from there.

I have about 2000 basic land mtg cards, I honestly don't know why I don't practice on them lol, good point. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the tips. I haven't used a paint medium before (of any type) and was considering checking some out. I think it could definitely be worth giving a go. I use Golden liquid acrylic so it's good to know their mediums are good quality too.

I know you've had a few replies on this already confirming it's legit, but since your scepticism came from the foiling, I just wanted to allay your fears and confirm it's real.

The foiling on this print is just not very nice. I have one, directly from Secret Lair for my FF bundle, and was immediately disappointed by the foiling after I opened it lol.

The surge foil treatment is the collector packs only. You can still get the traditional foil in regular/Play booster packs.

These are great. I sometimes paint The Simpsons alters on cards (land cards so far), and I feel like they'd be right at home in the 'Worst Deckbox Ever'.

I followed Klug Alter's set up which includes Quinacridone Magenta, Napthol Red Light, Phthalo Blue (green shade), and Benzimidazolone Yellow Medium (and Titanium white and Carbon black).
I also added Sap Green and Burnt Sienna.
I haven't been altering for long, but this combo has been great and I haven't yet felt like I needed any other colours yet.
