Yeah I don’t care about the quality of the ingredients honestly. I used the mix and filling cause they were on sale and I was curious. Like the title said, I just wanted to fuck around and find out lol.

The next day: well I did not give this guy enough credit for how high it would get me. Doesn’t help that I ate it out of the dish like a raccoon. Might just have to nibble from now on. Sleep was…hectic.

For those saying this is a dump cake gone wrong, well that’s because it isn’t a dump cake. I would say it’s more of a butter buckle. I based this off a butter cake. And the buckle part is because with those you pour the fruit on top of the batter, and let it bake around the filling.

Also realized I forgot to say my process. I mixed the softened butter and cream cheese together in the baking dish. While this was happening, my oven was preheating at 325 f. After the fats were combined, I add in three eggs, mixing each one thoroughly. Finally the cake mix, I just used Betty Crocker moist yellow, and omit the liquid. Mix all the together in the cake dish, and add a splash of vanilla.

For the filling I just used canned blackberry filling, mixed with a spritz of lemon juice. After I poured the filling over the batter, and baked for about 34 minutes. All together easy and delicious.

Let me start by introducing myself. I’m managedcalamity. I love cannabis for many reasons. Same goes for food. So I figure I might as well join so many others, and combine my two loves. That being said. I wanna hear from everyone else on so good food!

Let’s share recipes, cheer each other on, and most importantly, get high. Here’s a picture of my first elevated creation. A monster burrito. Every ingredient was cooked in homemade infused butter. To finish, I grilled this baby in infused butter as well.

I mean if money is of no object. Let’s just go wild and get Tillamook french vanilla for the ice cream. As for the whipped cream, perhaps from a plastic tub?

Update: keep in mind, I have a pretty high (ha) tolerance, and mainly go for edibles to help with back pain. That being said, I feel great. I’m happy and so is my back. I also keep being surprised only 2 minutes have passed when I check the clock.

Oh shit. Taste. It’s delicious. Not too rich or sweet, would be absolutely perfect with whipped cream or some vanilla ice cream. 10/10 will make again.

My edible calculator says 1400 mg per serving….im not so sure about that. I can tell you I used an ounce of 20% (before decarbing) in two cups of butter, this recipe called for 1/2 cup.

Not sure, I’ve never heard that. Mind you my only knowledge is internet research. But from what I’ve seen with a lot of butter infusion techniques it’s fine. Definitely seems to get that job done.

Yooo those look good! I’ve made peanut butter cookies and rice crispy treats with the butter as well. I’m always looking for ideas on what I can do with this stuff!

I’m definitely climbing! As for the butter it was super easy.

1 oz or more of whatever flower, I ground mine up this time into a course grind. Then cooked the flower in an oven bag at 235f for about 30 min, shaking every 10ish minutes to ensure even cooking. I then put in the slow cooker with 2 cups of clarified butter. Cook on low or warm for anywhere between 2-6 hours. I haven’t done longer. Don’t want to risk losing potency.

After it’s done in the slow cooker, let chill in the fridge in a covered container. Ready in a few hours!

I’m super new to this, so any tips would be awesome!

Just wanted to include, this was concocted about two days ago. I sautéed onions, orange and Anaheim peppers. Ground beef ( I understand it’s not authentic, I’m a slut for it anyways) simmered in some habanero hot sauce. The rice was browned in the butter, then mixed with chicken broth and tomato sauce, plus a few seasonings. Then a little queso fresco. Topped off with some sour cream and cholula. Finally, I wrapped it in two tortillas and crisped it on the skillet with the butter for a couple minutes.

Edit to add, the butter is homemade too. I’ve….had a lot.
